That's A Wrap! La Cage Aux Folles Closing In A Month!

Well, that's that!
The Broadway revival of La Cage aux Folles, which originally starred Kelsey Grammer and Douglas Hodge, will be shutting down once its current run with Harvey Fierstein and Christopher Sieber wraps on Sunday, May 1st.
Ticket sales have reportedly been less-than-stellar since the original cast left, so it's no surprise that they're cutting their losses while they can.
Too bad! But hey - it had a good run!
Hopefully the rest of the show's this April will do well! Hang in there, guys!

THE WAY YOU HAVE BEEN "REPORTING NEWS" LATELY PEREZ, THIS WILL PROBABLY TURN OUT TO BE NOT TRUE TOMORROW. THEY'LL PROBABLY EXTEND ITS RUN!!! FOOL.
It also now has VERY STIFF competition from Priscilla Queen of the Desert, which by the way is the BEST play I have ever seen and I recommend it to EVERYONE. 2 1/2 hours of out-rite F-U-N. The time just flies by. The actors, the costumes and the staging are AMAZING. Its gonna win a TON of Tonys!!!
