Patti LuPone Vs. Twitter Imposter, Round Two!
Wow! She really is all kinds of fired up about this!
We reported a while back that Broadway diva Patti LuPone was none too pleased to find out that she had an imposter pretending to be her from an account on Twitter, and today, we received this note from a Perezcious reader which reaffirms that she has not let her rage for the phoney go! In fact, we think it's only getting worse!
The source writes:
I attended this weekend's concert of "Company" in NYC starring Neil Patrick Harris and Patti LuPone. Afterward, I waited by the stage door. When Patti came out, she was signing autographs and talking to fans and I guess someone said they loved her Tweets and she totally blew a gasket. She started yelling, "Do not follow that impostor! I wish people would do something better with their time than Twitter all day long. The internet is a very scary place! Beware!" and kept it up for a good couple of minutes. Apparently that fake tweeter really got under LuPone's skin!
Yeah! Apparently! LOLz!
We can understand her being upset, but try and RELAX, gurl! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
That being said, to whomever this imposter may be - we already warned you, but seriously - you might want to deactivate the account! Sounds as though Patti is NOT letting this one go, and she's coming for you!

Really? Did you or did you not sue many people because you claimed they were trying to imitate you and your site? And I guess that quote from you is ironic to a degree. I mean you TOOK your whole persona from Paris Hilton and you have a site "Coco Perez" as in a play on Coco Chanel. Geesh! BE ORIGINAL FOR ONCE!
