I love Stevie Nicks and her music has been the soundtrack to my life. Sometimes she's all that I listen to for ages but I don't get this song. Is it just me or does it feel really unnatural and forced? Like they reeeeeeally wanted to write a song but were having trouble coming up with a melody. I don't know.. I hope the rest of the album is better. Does anybody else feel this way? I love the video though.
Re: exlibris – well, i kind of agree with u here. its not a bad song. it just seemed a little overly commercial to me. i also dont really care for john stewarts voice here, though i love him as a producer (love the eurythmics). i have to say the i enjoy stevies music most when it is produced by lindsey buckingham as he seems to take more risks. i find her fleetwood mac stuff sounds less commercial than her solo stuff (though sometimes the opposite is true).
one thing about steve is that she really needs to chop off about 6 inches of her hair. someone needs to tell her that she would look so much fresher without all those freakin split ends she has had for the last 12 years.
