TSA Officer Gives Young Child Full Body Search At Airport

| Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueYouTube

Is this really necessary?

Here's a video a YouTube user uploaded of a young girl being extensively searched by a Transportation Security Administration official while going through a security check-point at an airport.

We're pret-ty sure she's NOT a terrorist, nor is she hiding any crack rocks in her size 4 OshKosh B'gosh jeans.

The user who uploaded the video goes as far as to call the excessive touching in question as "groping".

What do U think? Was this security officer getting a little too touchy-feely with this girl or was she a legitimate security threat?

OMG!!!!! Ok… I know that the Airports in USA are a little crazy ’bout this things… but a little girl? C'mon!!!! Are u serious guys??? Sick People out there…

  2. 2

She wasn't groping, and she was explaining every single thing she was doing. I do understand how it can be bad for someone to see that but I also think that there are som really really sick kids and very "creative" individuals. I can say that you can't leave anything out.

  3. 3

Neither. The woman was doing her job, whether anyone likes it or not. Many drug dealers use their children as a mule. And any terrorist wanting themselves, and their children, to meet their maker that much faster could easily stick a bomb on little Johnny.

Mario, you're just upset it wasn't a little boy and you weren't the one doing the patting down.

Have the Feds investigated your Payola ongoings yet? No? Just wait. It's coming.

  4. 4

It is not groping. You think a child has never been used by an adult to carry explosives? If your family were on a plane blown apart by a bomb wouldn't you have rather they had checked the passengers.

  5. 5

Although I do believe that this is completely unnecessary, she was not groping her. A little excessive though, for sure.

  6. 6

Thats a bit to much. Disgusting !!!!!

  7. 7

she was pretty professional about the whole thing, in this day and age i honestly dont think that it was THAT extreme

  8. @v@ says – reply to this

    8

The tiny little thing did not want this. Do you think she looks dangerous?!? Israel has the best security in the world, and they don't do this. They use profiling, wands, and dogs.

  9. 9

Re: squinoa – So this should be standard procedure in any large meeting place like schools, malls, concerts, libraries, sporting events or even bus stops, because you do know terrorists can strike anywhere and they normally don't use the same method twice…do you see where I'm going with this? do you know what the term"history always repeats itself"refers too? its refers to the fact that nations always fall to tyranny, or absolute power corrupting absolutely, and it's slapping you in the face as you watched that video but you don't have the eyes to see it!

  10. 10

Jesus Christ, this country has just become downright pathetic and sad.

  11. 11

People act as if people don't put illegal things on kids to hide..rofl I read a story how this 4 year old kid had a half of a pound of weed in his backpack because the parent put it their to hide it..Same thing, Don't like the security measures than fucking drive or deal with it. But you do know terrorist are laughing their asses off in their caves at us. Dogs are cheaper and more convenient.

It'd be pretty LOL worthy if the TSA decided to ease up on the security and next thing you know you have a 747 crashing into another building. But of course with peoples never ending stupidity they would then say "TSA didn't do a good enough job"

  12. 12

Re: @v@ – We're not allowed to use something that works. (racial profiling) because this is America and that would be wrong, evil and racist duh.

  13. 13

As long as people continue to use their children as mules to carry drugs and contraband, then these searches will be required. Nobody is forcing you to travel between countries, so if you don't like it, stay in your own country.

  14. 14

I do not think this is excessive, I did not care if I am searched and ass wipes use their children as drug carriers all the time. That child is only as scarred as her parents let her feel.

  15. 15

as people have stated already, there has been plenty of cases were people have used their children to smuggle things on and off airplanes and in and out of countries because they assume young children wont get checked. anybody who is terribly upset by this should really get over themselves. not saying that little girl or her mother looked like they are the type of people who would smuggle drugs/weapons/etc but its still nice to know that they check throughly for everyones safety.

  16. 16

I'm sure it was frightening thing for that child. Maybe her parents should have considered having her subjected to that. Her parents have a complicity in this, knowing that body searches are a fact of air travel.
    .
Don't forget this: Eight children died on the attack planes on 9-11. Do you think people wanting to terrorize America would really care about children? If a terrorist faction with any brains at all knew that searches of children were off limits we'd have the cutest little explosive devices of anyone in the world.
    .
Remember that home-grown white boy who blew up the Federal Building in Oklahoma? A building which housed a daycare? Do you think he cared if children were hurt. I don't think so.
    .
    Wake up people.

  17. 17

I agree with most of the comments, the TSA officer was not groping the little girl. She was doing her job. The problem is not the officers who have to carry out the protocol, but the protocol itself if it demands that little children should be searched. I understand that the point made in many of the comments, drug dealers will use little children as mules. I just think it offers a bleak perspective off the world we live in, when we are forced to search little children.

  18. 18

hell seems like a very convenient place to hide illegal things because this is the kind of reaction people get when it happens. i too think its ridiculous to search a 4yo but if you think about it it is as likely a place as any to traffic things

  19. 19

A few years ago I was injured in a motorcycle accident. I have a lot of hardware in my leg. I set scanners off. Everytime I go through an airport I automatically step out, explain, am wanded and physically searched, then sent on my merry way. Do I like it? No. Does the person doing it like it? I doubt it. The thing is, I *know* this is going to happen and if I find it that upsetting maybe I should think about getting to my destination a different way. Children are used all the time. People bent on destruction are going to destroy no matter who or what is in their way. Children are not off limits to terrorists.

  20. 20

If it keeps people from being killed, i'm all for it.

  21. 21

Americans pisses me off. What if that little girl was actually a terrorist and blows up a plane and kills hundreds of people??? i'm saying, what if. if that actually happened, then all the americans would ask, why didn't they examine everyone? kids/pets/…falls under everyone.

  22. 22

It's obvious that this little bitch was planning on taking out a plane. She should be sent to Gitmo for the rest of her life without a trial. We've really got to get tough on these terrorists so I don't have to wake up every day terrified I might die. Frankly, I'm appauled they didn't do a full cavity search. It's clear to me, she's smuggling a bomb up her ass. The TSA needs to get more aggressive. I'm so happy the government is keeping me safe. I suggest that the government mandate that we all wear helmets and padded suits when we leave our houses (for our safety), with a thousand dollar fine when we're caught not wearing them. Oh, and give that thousand dollars directly to the top one percent who already have most of the money. Fear, fear, fear has ruined our lives and most of us can't see past our cell phones. Twenty nine people turned our country into a joke. It's pathetic!

  23. 23

Doesn't anybody ever wonder how Stalin got 20 MILLION people into a compound and then starved them to death?
or how Hitler got 6 MILLION to line up into gas chambers?

1.they incrementally got citizens acclimated with daily Government intervention where they were treated like criminal slaves and they brainwashed them to believe through fear mongering that they needed to give up their freedom for safety [CHECK] *See Video above

  24. 24

Actually, it's sickening that it's sometimes necessary to do this kinda thing!
Sometimes they do this without good reason! My cousin actually went from Holland to Aruba with her 3 little girls… they searched them… they even took off the babies diaper! If that were your child you would freak out!!! She never did anything wrong, but because she was a 'single' mom with 3 lil kids she must be hiding something!! She wasn't even single… her boyfriend took a flight 1 day later… oh and they even broke my lil cousins belt! It's just sad…. so sad…..

  25. 25

Are you kidding me people?? Of course that little girl should get a full body search! So what you think parents cant hide drugs or weapons on there kids?? There are alot of crazy people out there who would!! That lady is doing her job, and thank god she is! You people should be happy that shes keeping the airport safe!

  26. 26

Re: @v@ – Yah know why they don't do this in IsisRaEl? because almost all the terrorists come from Israel, but they just blame it all on their enemies. the fact is you never "hear" about Israeli terrorists because the source you're gonna "hear" it from is almost 100% owned by Israeli's. Google:Missing Links.

  27. 27

Ugh, for those of us frequent flyers…this is by no means crazy or out of line. How many times do so-called "loving parents" hide drugs on their children? And how many crazy terrorists strap bombs on their own children?! Stop blaming airport staff for trying to make sure we're safe and start blaming the morons who make these procedures necessay!

  28. 28

I think that at the end of the day there are some very sick people out there who wouldn't have a second though about using childrens to smuggles explosives or drugs….. you don't suspect children …they don't know what's going on!!!! So I think that the security was just doing their job!! It was supervised so I don't see what the big deal is……

  29. 29

Because of naive people like you many use their kids as mules and nobody suspects a thing because a)kids are so cudly woodly b)you are of course not allowed to search a kid because it makes you a pedo/evil person. STFU Perez.

  30. 30

people will and do use their kids to commit crimes…

  31. 31

A child should not be subjected to this. Nobody should. But it is necessary. This woman is not to blame, she is doing her job and protecting everyone on the plane. If it was a man that would be a different story. If you want to blame someone, blame the terrorists that put is in this situation.

  32. 32

There should be no reason to be doing this in the first place. Otherwise, they would have been doing this just after 911. But they didn't. Now the last couple years they decide to do it? 911 was an inside job. The war on terror is based on a lie. OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE.

  33. 33

Here is the thing: OBVIOUSLY the child is not a terrorist but unfortunately people sneak weapons, drugs and all kinds of other illicit objects and substances through security on children. It makes sense to pat down the child just like any other person to make sure that the parents or some other weirdo in the airport hasnt tried to get away with something terrible. Its not like they are taking her to a private room away from her parents or guardians and touching her inappropriately. Would you rather have a child get a little and very professional pat down or would you rather have a freak smuggle a gun, bomb, or crack through security on a child? Think about it before you get too upset…

  34. 34

they are just doing their job better safe than sorry

  35. 35

"touchy feely"? It sounds like you're implying that she's being molested…I have 2 little girls and this would not faze them. The Woman is professional and the little girl is fine.

  36. 36

Re: cmebrkmedwn – I am amazed how easily ignorant people like yourself can convince each other of anything they want. Need another example? THE BIBLE.

  37. 37

I agree with most of these comments. Obviously the kid's mom wasn't being too cooperative, you can hear it in her voice which makes her even more suspicious, so i can see why the security person wasn't just like "alright, be on your way!" The parents could have hidden anything in the child! She was very professional and explained everything she was doing.
As usual perez is attempting to make drama out of nothing, but I suppose that's his job.

  38. 38

This is disgusting. America should be ashamed of itself. This doesn't prevent one spec of terror — except for the fear they're imbuing in this child.

  39. 39

First, she was NOT groping her, she was doing a search. Second, she was explaining everything as she did it and I in no way saw the lady touch her with her palms. the search was done properly.

Now, if you think that parents out there don't ues their kids as drug mules everyday then you are hiding from the truth. It sad but it happens all the time. Children have also been used by terriosts so do I think this was out of line…..no. I would et them search my children as long as they were clothed and I was present, which was this situation. Once again people are trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

  40. 40

Seriously? What's next, a cavity and a strip search? I have a six year old and a 11 month old and I would have a really hard time letting a security officer grop my children because of some bullshit "standard procedure." Fuck off. Why don't you start searching the people that look suspicious, not to sound like I'm sterotyping but it seems teriost all have a certain look.

  41. fid says – reply to this

    41

If the child was middle eastern, would it then be more acceptable for him/her to be checked this thoroughly? I think that there are plenty of people out there who would use a child for the very purpose of people not suspecting them of carrying weapons or drugs. Unfortunately this is the type of environment we now live in.

  42. 42

Who is this woman? Paula Poundstone?

  43. 43

The thing i find funny about this whole thing is the fact that if it were a video of little boy being seached you'd probably keep it on your computer to jerk off to.

  44. 44

[re=5681846]Re: *NcOle YOU ARE PROBABLY TOO YOUNG TO KNOW THIS BUT LOOK UP TIMOTHY MCVEIGH ON THE INTERNET. HE WAS ABOUT AS WHITE-BREAD AS THEY COME AND HE BLEW UP A BUILDING AS A TERRORIST.

  45. 45

  46. 46

This TSA stuff is getting ridiculous, and NOT with the workers. Has everyone REALLY forgotten what happened on 9/11? I'm not saying it's gonna happen again, because of what the TSA is doing. Does it seem excessive to pat down a 4 year old? Maybe, but isn't it also excessive for people to use them as mules? Oh, you forgot how often that happens because the media doesn't cover everything that happens.
I have been patted down by the TSA and they explain what they're doing, as they're doing it and are in no way invasive. She used the back of her hands when she came CLOSE (DID NOT TOUCH) my private areas. If you guys want to have "freedom from TSA" then take the fucking train or move. You all screamed for higher security measures at the airport, you got it, and now you can't shut up about it. And if you don't remember what happened on 9/11 or how you felt watching friends and family die for NO REASON (other than they don't "like" us) then you're too young to be on the internet and need to go study your history.

  47. 47

Re: @v@ – Yeah, try using profiling these days. Have you forgotten that they tried that and people screamed "THAT'S RACIST! THAT'S RACIST!" Been there, done that, we moved on to new tactics. Educate yourself.

  48. 48

Re: KDIZZLL – Yeah, cuz, you know, a mall and an INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT are the same thing. Seriously? Lol, pretty drastic comment, wouldn't you say?

  49. 49

I'm not saying it's not right that people have to feel like they should pat down kids, but that's the world we are in today. It is changing and we need to change with it. I know it's nice to think that little kids can be protected from certain things, but, wake up people! If kids get raped, kidnapped, murdered and generally abused like some have been, than a little TSA pat down will not "scar her" (as someone so eloquently put it).

    50

Re: Radadatt – haha airports in the USA? oh excuse us, do you not remember 9/11? and yeah she was explaining every single thing she was doing, and the little girl didn't seem too bothered by any of it. if i had to ride on that plane, i would be happy they are doing that to everyone.

  51. 51

Re: KDIZZLL – Yeah, Stalin and Hitler both got prisoners in that way. ALL those people allowed themselves to be brain washed. Let's forget the part where people were hiding from them, being forced into the camps at gunpoint. Either that, or they'd be killed point blank in the face. I wonder what YOU would chose.

  52. 52

    Re: LetttyB
I know who Timothy McVeigh is, thanks for the history lesson. If you have children or any compassion for littles ones then you might understand that to stand to the side and become a bystander as your child gets a full body search would be no easy task. Pedifiles have been arrested for far less.

  53. 53

While I think the TSA agent was very professional, I think that it's sad that "security" has come this far. The new machines that scan are bodies show details and don't protect us (putting things in oraphases is not that difficult). I think at some point we have to realize that prevention can only go so far and work on the recovery aspect of tragedies. Our government does this with anything and everything that they deem dangerous (except for the most deadly thing of guns!!) where they strip everyone of their rights so that a few people can be saved or a few crimes can be prevented. Maybe working on how to deal with the problem once it has happened would be more helpful!

  54. 54

Unfortunately, this is what life has come to be. Try reversing the color roles, though, and see how many people would be hollering white racist bitch picking on a poor little black kid. For those ready to cuss me out, think about it and you know that is exactly what would have happened. No one sticks up for whitey anymore.

  55. 55

Kids are used for illegal things everyday. This woman was just doing her job to protect all of us. She was gentle and explained her every move. I don't see anything wrong with what she did. It's a sad, sad world we live in today but we all made it this way. If she didn't do her job so well everyone would be complaining about that too. If the plane would of blown up and the little girl is the one who carried on the bomb we would be upset about that too. Can't win.

  56. 56

i think it was ok. I mean its true people use kids as drug mules. or to hold bombs. was it excessive ? Eh I dont know. as long as she didnt stick her hand up her crotch. Also they should have better security on subways and buses. like someone said it can happen anywhere. not just on planes!

What i dont get is why she was singled out for a pat down? random?

  57. 57

Re: KDIZZLL – Oh stop being a paranoid conspiracy person. Can't stand ppl like you who think our government is trying to kill every single one of us. Seriously, yeah I know they are greedy and selfish, but this plan you think of, well you need to take a step back and look at it. You think wayyy too much. You read into everything they do and dont do and think that its all tied together to try to get us buhahahahaha, and then it makes you paranoid, and then you just go in circles. Nut job.

  58. 58

Re: MO-Jo316 – Thats very true.

  59. 59

I wish things like this did not have to happen - the worker did appear to do her job well, by explaining fully what was happening and was not groping. Sadly there are people out there and the airport authorities know from previous convictions of parents that children are the ones that often end up carrying in drugs - not likely bombs.

  60. 60

Parents don't like it. As a parent, who's planning on traveling soon, this is one of my "ugh" situations that I know we're going to have to deal with.

With all of that said. We have, unfortunately, in the past, seen terrorists use children's bodies as weapons. And even for the sheer fact, that those terrorists, will also be watching video's like this, they will hopefully know, that no child will be treated differently.

It's not groping. We allow doctors access to our children, in order too check on their health. When things are kept professional and in the manner of keeping the airs safe, we need to allow the tsa to do their job.

  61. 61

This isn't about airport pat downs. No. This is about KIDS! Kids this, kids that, no not my baby, oh no, someone looked at my angel wrong, I've got to protect my KID! Shut up. No one's hurting your precious little kid. It's just a pat down, so calm down. The junk you feed them and shitty tv and video games you let them play are far more damaging. As a matter of fact, a little pat down isn't damaging at all. So get the fuck over it. And drop the kiddie cult. Your little angel will be just fine.

  62. 62

The woman was doing her job and explained everything she was doing. Sadly children are often used as drug mules and i'm sure Terrorists are finding ways to using them too (hasn't stopped them from doing that in Afganistan and Iraq) Because of this video, now airport security might be scared to do a pat down on a child without getting accused of groping them.

It sucks but sadly, it's a part of today's world.

  63. 63

i'm sure the tsa officers is just as embarrassed to have to do this and then get shit on by everybody. it's there job, people think they can hide things with there children. if this is what keeps our country safe, it's not that much to sacrifice.

  64. ohboy says – reply to this

    64

Doing her job….really. Remember that time an American kid had a bomb strapped to his back and blew up a plane? Oh. That's right. Has never happened. Apparently, common sense isn't abundant at the TSA.

  65. 65

a lot less obvious to hide substances in your kid than yourself. the parents could have been known dealers/druggies. you do not know these things.

  66. 66

Are people really naive enough to think someone wouldn't plant something on a child? They will fly planes into buildings, smuggle drugs in puppy stomachs, but they won't plant a trigger or weapon on a kid? You are a moron if you think that. What do you think will happen if TSA says "Oh, we aren't checking kids". People start getting things through in the pocket of a 2 year old. Have some common sense people!!

  67. 67

Of course, YOU would make something out of nothing. The TSA agent was nothing but professional and explained every move she made, not to mention, made sure her mother could see everything. It is up to the parents to explain this process to their children so they are not scared and do no think they are in trouble. IF THEY DON'T LIKE IT, THEY SHOULD DRIVE!!!

  68. 68

It's effing ridiculous to search a 6-year-old. She's obviously not a terrorist. The TSA needs to PROFILE like they do in Israel and stop wasting people's time.
On the other hand, the agent wasn't "groping" her. It looks like she went overboard NOT to grope the little girl, letting the mother watch and explaining what she was doing.

  69. 69

I have two younger sisters, one of which I imagine is a similar age to this child. If I were going away and they were the ones to get frisked, myself or mum would just say, this is nothing to worry about, just stand nice and still then we can carry on. And they would be fine with it. People inciting fear and terror into their children are basically brainwashing them. Just because it isn't 'bad information' doesnt make it any less brainwashed.

I personally belive that the reason the world and economy is in this situation is because common sense went out the window. Yet every, Tom, Dick and Harry blames the government for it. If there are stupid people out there, they have to cater to the stupid.

  70. 70

That was NOT groping! The TSA lady was doing her job and appeared to be very professional. The little girl doesnt look bothered at all by it.

  71. 71

The sad thing is, this TSA worker really was just "doing her job." She'll probably come under a lot of fire for this video, but I think she did the best she could in the situation. She explained everything that was happening to the little girl, was very gentle, and made sure her mother had a clear view of what was going on too. It's absolutely ridiculous that the worker should have to scan a 6 year old little girl, but (like I said) she did the best she could.

  72. 72

    Stupid Americans!!!!

  73. 73

Re: corriedude – You missed my point completely, for anybody that has NO problem with the current overly intrusive airport "security", should be ready to have this type of security in their everyday lives like at a mall or any place that is highly populated, because that's what DHS has in mind for the future, and if we let our Gov. get away with groping and naked body scanning us at airports, the sky is the limit.

  74. Bree says – reply to this

    74

Like others have said…she may be innocent, of course she is, she's 4…doesn't mean her parents are. Its a sad reality that people use their children for illegal activity everyday.

  75. 75

WOW!! This is BEYOND NOT OK!! Way to teach young kids that as long as a stranger remains calm and explains every step of why or where they're touching their bodies -its ok… way to pave the way for peodophiles. How are we to teach our kids not to let adults do what they want with them? Personal space is important to kids so that they can feel safe. how far are we going to let these TSA rules go?

  76. 76

I don't see anything wrong with what happened here except you only get to see the part where they are patting down the people, but what happened before this… did they set off any alarm? Did that little girl make a bomb threat? Who knows, they only show you the part that they think will make a controversy. And before you start talking about the kid not looking like a terrorist how about you tell me exactly what a terrorist looks like…. Without being an absolute racist. Profiling based on race is absolute horseshit, cause bad comes in all shapes, all sizes, all ethnicities.

  77. 77

This is reDONKulous. It is their job to do that to everyone. in no way was she hurting or bothering that little one. She talked her through it the whole time and told her mom before she did it exactly how she was going to and than did what she said. these people are crazy.

  78. 78

Re: Mimi the Magnificent – From my perspective you're the one that's crazy, you don't agree with me so I must be crazy right? pffft… I form my beliefs independently unlike you who needs confirmation from your peers before you will believe anything to be true, you're not a critical thinker because you fear being ridiculed for having an original thought or idea, just the fact that you're on this gossip site repeating the same sycophantic drivel about celebrities proves you have a herd mentality and are highly suggestible…[tilts head and points] NEXT !

  79. 79

Re: corriedude – What would I choose…I would rather DIE on my feet than LIVE on my knees, I'm nobodies slave.

  80. 80

I thought she was very professional, making sure the mother was in view of the scene and using the back of her hand in sensitive areas.

  81. 81

Kind of excessive but your logic is the exact reason why people trying to smuggle drugs WOULD get their kids to hide them and pretend it's a game or something. The woman was just doing her job which is a job that saves lives.

  82. 82

After watching the video…i don't think that is was bad..they had the parent there to watch and do you know how many sick people out there use their kids to smuggle stuff in….

  83. 83

Nothing wrong with what the agent did.She explained everything as she was doing it.Don't like it,don't fly.

  84. 84

There was no need for it at all but at least the woman explained every single thing she was doing so the girl wouldnt be scared.

The TSA does their job. People are forgetting that 'terrorist' organisations in the 1980s used children (along with 'mothers' pushing baby strollers) as decoys and even vessels for holding explosives, etc. Everyone is subject to search and overseas they HAVE found children to be in posession of items used to fashion explosives (obviously not by their choice)

  86. 86

Everyone is asking if it was really necessary to search this child. I say stop asking such stupid questions. Better question is, is it really necessary to make such a big deal out of the incident and slather it all over the news so shamelessly? Welcome to the real world kid! It's too bad that I can't avoid a search at the airport by conjuring up some crocodile tears.

  87. 87

groping??? that's a little too much. Most of the time when you get searched it's because you set off the detector. TSA was only doing their job. Hey, you never know a terrorist face until they strike. It could be your neighbor, your friend, or that stranger in front/behind/next to you. Also, crack addicts are desperate. They will do what it takes to hide drugs. I'm not surprised.

    Re: KDIZZLL

first of all, 20 million people in Russia, they were sent out into the obscure Siberian wilderness; temperatures don't get above -10 during the day in winter.

next, the Holocaust was more than 10 million people and it was not all 'gas chambers'

third, most terrorists do not come from israel.

I have a masters degree in history, political science, and government. please get yourself educated before you go spouting off using "facts" that you no doubt pull from a shoddy wiki page.

Also, post where it matters you troll.

  89. 89

ever heard of the term "drugs mule" you idiot? just because she's not necessarily capable of doing anything illegal herself doesn't mean she's not being used as a vessel for someone else's criminal activity. the security officer was doing their job thoroughly. by implying that they were "groping" the child you're just adding an unnecessary element of sexual abuse for the sake of it.

Re: Mimi the Magnificent – ugh thank you. i was outraged and had to post as well. let's get em! ha

  91. 91

Are you kidding me? Whether you like it or not, there are a ridiculous amount of people that would hide drugs or even equipment for explosives on their children. The employee did nothing wrong. We're criticized for using something efficient, racial profiling, so we try and cut back with that and what happens? More criticism, it is getting increasingly difficult to make people happy in this country. Who cares if they were a stereotypical white, blond-haired family, you never know what kind of people they can be.

  92. 92

Oh please!! She was not being groped! And unfortunately we live in a time that terrorist would use children and women.. It is for everyone’s safety. the parents said that their daughter cried.. oh please since when do children not cry – I am sure she is fine.. they need to explain to this child the reason why airports do that.. so stupid how parents these days can’t talk to their children.. and are afraid if they cry.. who cares.. kids cry people!! Crying will not kill your children.. they are not doing their job as a parent if they can’t get their kid to understand why the airports do this..

Re: Stacy Feng – Grow up - that is the world we live in.. helloooooooooooooo…

  94. 94

oh please she' wasn't groping her! the woman said everything she was doing outloud and made sure the little girls mother could see everything she was doing. Yeah it was a little excessive to have to search a small child but some people in the world suck and use their kids to do illigal things. but come on it's bull saying the child was groped.

  95. 95

Re: OhJustPickOne – So i guess parents should not take their children to see a doctor either? because the doctor will have to touch the child? you are a moron.. gosh people are really stupid..

  96. 96

If I wanted to smuggle something the last place someone would think would be a child, so that should be the first place security should look! Especially the other stuff that goes along with babies, strollers, bottles, etc. Lots of places to hide things that society presses to not check, so if everyone knows that kids are off limits….Just saying! You're checking the kid not because of the kid but because of the parent!

  97. 97

Everything I have to say about this won't fit, but people DO use children for smuggling of all kinds. Anyone that is upset by this video needs to realize that. The TSA worker was doing her job. She was gentle and very clear when explaining everything. No one enjoys the security procedures, but we have to follow them. The more people cooperate, the easier it is for everyone, and the more likely it will be that the methods can change. And for the people saying this is the same as or encouraging pedophilia… REALLY??? If parents are so worried about that, either don't bring the kids on planes or teach them better that this stuff is completely situational so that they know how to tell the difference on their own

  98. 98

Is it sad? Sure..but its what the world's come to I guess. I'd rather have this done than the invasive and high radiation from the full body scanner done to my daughters. Those scanners scare me. No person, especially a young child needs that much exposure to unnecessary radiation.

i have a young daughter, and unfortunately this is the world we live in today. i agree with everyone that says you know what your getting into when you travel by plane. If i was to take my child on a plane you better believe i want EVERY other person going on that plane checked out, regardless of age, sex, race, whatever. terrorist come in all shapes and sizes and it sucks but its reality so people get your heads out of the clouds. the woman doing the search seemed very professional and im sure that patting people down is not the highlight of her job, but it is HER JOB.
