Exclusive! Sharon Osbourne Releases Statement About IRS Lien On Her Home

Earlier in the week, we reported that Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have run up more than $1.7 million in unpaid taxes and are now facing losing their home.

As Sharon is a woman who highly regards her "moral character" and the perception of herself in the community, she sent us this EXCLUSIVE statement to clear up any misconceptions about the situation at hand. Her statement reads:

“At 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon I received a phone call from my publicist who had a reporter on the other line informing her that the IRS had just put a lien on one of our properties. I then contacted my accountant who said they knew nothing about any lien. The lien has been paid. I do intend to find out how this lien happened without the knowledge of myself or my accountants. I hope none of this reflects negatively on mine and Ozzy’s moral character.” – Sharon Osbourne

It shouldn't, but it sounds like you've got a real problem with someone on your staff who is fairly close to all your money. Make sure it is your top priority to find this person and promptly remove them from your inner circle before you get into more trouble that you had zero hand in.

Did this same person screw over Kelly Osbourne too, we wonder???

"I hope none of this reflects negatively on mine and Ozzy’s moral character.”
LMAO That Sharon Osbourne's as delusional as they get. Moral character? Give me a break.

  2. 2

    Jews don't have moral character.

Love the Osbournes! This doesn't reflect badly on them at all. I figured it was a mix-up. Probably the IRS screwed up anyway…. they're not exactly….well, I'll leave it at that.

She'd better talk to the IRS herself, as something funny's going on; or some outlet decided to float a lien story as an extension of that other story.

Perez, WTF do you know about what happened to Sharon, Ozzy, or even Kelly to give such specific advice? Why would you suggest anyone's termination without full knowledge of the facts, and also possess clear understanding about who is at fault and why?

"Highly regards her moral character", or is our savy gal pal firing a warning shot across whomever's bow, who may be responsible for
misreporting, as she alleged, that he or she better know WTF he or she is doing, based on potential for damage it could inflict upon the Osbornes

repute and ability to earn, pursuant to 'morality clauses' which are often featured in contracts, which tend to be vague and broad in case an employer, say one like CBS may need to exercise (as it did against Sheen), based on "morality", because it may need to make adjustments on the panel of is knock-off version of The View, and needs to dump a panelist and not pay her as her contract may stipulate, so it could sink the money into the show or replacement panelist, or cancel the show and cut loses. How? Exercise the clause based on conduct which does not reflect the Network or show in appropriate light?… unbecoming of a worldly, more distinguished and successful business woman of a certain age?
