Leo And Kate Win Romance

Wow! Congrats, guys!

It kinda seemed like a no-brainer to us, but the results of the poll are in anyway, and it looks like Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio beat out a slew of other lurvers to win most romantic on-screen couple of all time!

They beat out:

Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh ("Gone with the Wind"), Richard Gere and Julia Roberts ("Pretty Woman"), Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman ("Casablanca") and Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn ("Adam's Rib") to take the title.

Fab!

Though, where was Lady and the Tramp?? Jon Heder and Tina Majorino?? Sham! Ha!

Do U agree with the results??

What about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart?!?! Duh!!!

  2. 2

She was a mismatch for him in that movie.
She looked like an old lady in Titanic.

  3. 3

Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in 'Pretty Woman'? Haha, yeah, because a man and his hooker are so romantic! Compared to the other names and films on the list, that's just funny. Personally, I'd have gone for Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh.

  4. 4

NO NO NO NO NO!!!! The Notebook!!!! Hands down, c'mon now people!

  5. 5

Titanic's Kate and Leo????really??? I always thought they were awkward together, they had better chemistry in Revolutionary Road..

  6. 6

I thought Leo and Claire Danes in "Romeo and Juliet" was hotter!

Re: Emilayday – What? Come on people? The Notebook was a Horrible Movie only fat lonely women liked that movie.

  8. 8

OK, this was a great movie BUT…. what about the NOTEBOOK! Seriously.

  9. 9

I'm surprised. I also thought they seemed a little awkward and mismatched in the movie. I'd have gone for Vivien Leigh and Clarke Gable …. and, yes, I think the Notebook should have beaten Leo and Kate too. No reflection either of them or their talents obviously (they're both great) just not a good romantic match. But it could have been worse …. they could have voted for Kate and that young kid from The Reader…

Absolutely! I created my own ending. Jack survived they lived happily ever after.Their romance was like no other on film. I like Twilight the only problem with their romance is the PG13 rating makes it hard for those two to really make their love seem real. It's to preachy.

Kate Winslett just looked so much older than the boyish Leonardo. I hated the pairing.

  12. 12

I like the decision… But what about Patrick Swayze & Demi Moore in Ghost?

  13. 13

So I wonder if the whiny bitch organization (glaad) threw a hissy fit because there was no gay/lesbian couples mentioned. Probably so..Its GLAAD after all.

Leo and Claire Danes in "Romeo + Juliet" was a hotter pairing. The scene where Romeo and his buddies crash the Capulet's ball and Romeo spots Juliet through the fishtanks, then proceeds to chase her all around until they finally meet up in the elevator and have a passionate make out session…I don't know, you can't top that!

Re: Q*bert – this is true, that scene with the fish tank was AMAZING, it still holds up to this day as the most romantic scene! Their chemistry was off the charts.

Re: julietcast – HAHAHAHA that was funny, because everyone knows their romance was so much more epic than Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler (!)

  17. 17

    hell yes! TITANIC FTW!!!

    Agreeeeee!
