Nic Cage Arrested For Domestic Abuse

Nicolas Cage was arrested early this morning in New Orleans for alleged domestic abuse. He was booked by the police at 6:33 am on one count of domestic abuse and one count of disturbing the peace. Details are scarce at the moment, but we do know that at present, he is still in custody.
Judging by his mugshot (above), we imagine he wasn't completely in his right mind at the time, if you know what we mean.
You just can't seem to stay out of trouble, huh Nic? Sad.

If you'd read the full news report instead of just the sensationalized headline, you'll see that Nic and his wife were yelling at each other in the street, and a cab driver called the police. Nic challenged the officers to arrest him, twice, so they did. Nic's wife is not pressing charges. He didn't beat her. Let's hope you never get called to jury duty, as you'd be screaming 'GUILTY!!!' before the opening arguments began.
If he didn't get a NOPD style beat down, then he def got the celeb treatment.
