Wait, what? Isn't that a little…backwards?

Source report that yesterday, Nicolas Cage was released on a $11K bail bond after being arrested on charges of domestic abuse and disorderly conduct, by none other thanDuane "Dog" Chapman.

Apparently, Dog The Bounty Hunter went against his profession and with his wife Beth in tow, went down to the jail to get Nic released.

What in the world! Since when are you guys friends? Where did you all meet? Why were you in Louisiana? We're they filming your reality show?

There are so many things we don't understand about this!!!

Uhh, Perez? That's what Dog DOES. He runs a bail bond business - he springs people out of jail then if they miss their court date or they refuse to pay him back, he tracks 'em down.

That pic is not of Dog the Bounty Hunter. Are you sure it was actually Dog that bailed him out?

  3. 3

Maybe he is a fan or something, tho the question is, did Cage deserve to be bailed?.

  4. 4

That's what Dog does for a living.

On another note though, it's interesting that Dog didn't spring to get his daughter Lisa out of jail. I guess he was trying to do the tough love thing with that situation. Probably more to the story than we know.

Perez, Dog the Bounty Hunter is a Bounty Hunter. It is his job. Maybe since he has been under the radar he deemed it a good idea to go after a troubled star. And to the comment below, bounty hunters are not allowed to bond their family (spouse, children) out of jail. It just like doctors cannot operate on their own family. There is a "moral" code.

On a side note; THAT IS NOT DUANE CHAPMAN (DOG), thats an impersonator. Please change the pic perez.

Ahhh… that's NOT dog the bounty hunter in that image. It's look-alike.

OMG !!! Am I seeing a love connection between these two???? lol

Duane "Dog" Chapman, (58 yrs old & married 5 timess) got some darn good publicity out of this. It helped both of them out. In his prime he was 5 ft. 7 inches tall.

Oh my God you know NOTHING

next time…USE A FUCKING PICTURE OF DOG YOU DOUCHE BAGS!!!

  11. 11

Hey DUM DUM Perez! Dog runs a BAIL BONDS BUSINESS! That is what he and his wife do for a living!

  12. 12

"went against his profession"???? It's the Dog's primary business, bail bondsman. His company is Tahini bail bonds. He only chases people that run while out on bail. Perez you are so ignorant sometimes

Re: lorelovesyou2 – That's ridiculous. Parents bail their children out of jail every day. Dog could have posted bail for his daughter if he wanted to, just like any other parent.

That is NOT dog the bounty hunter! WTF? plus writing bonds is what the "real" dog DOES!

  16. 16

  17. 17

    Haha that really isn't Dog

First off, that is not Dog in the pic. Second, he is a bail bondsman! Freakin' Idiot! Get your shit straight before posting bullshit on your site.

Re: iloverickymartin – How right you are! There are literally hundreds of bail bond companies all around the New Orleans Parish Prison. These bailbondsmen actually monitor the names of the arrested hourly and then proceed to call the arrested person at the jail and ask if you want to be bonded out and if you do, have whoever can put the money up for you contact them. It's a very competetive business. The self-called "Dog" got a LOT of publicity out of this, as every single time it is reported around the world, it is simultaneously reported that Duane "Dog" Chapman bailed him out. Chapman didn't do this out the goodness of his heart. He did it for a lot of FREE PUBLICITY.
