Donald Trump Talks Potential Presidential Candidacy

| Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueMedia MinutePolitikDonald TrumpPerezTVBusiness Blitz

It's getting more and more real.

Check out the video (above) of Donald Trump talking about his potential presidential candidacy, which he'll most likely announce in June if he goes through with it.

As we said last week, it def sounds like he's serious about this.

At this point, do U support Trump's Presidential candidacy? Or should he stick to anything else his TV show and business?

I hope this is just a publicity stunt for CA

  2. 2

Lets give him a chance. He is a business man and the country needs one right now. Please dont buy anything made in China…lets buy only made in USA.

  3. 3

while in the moment because we are in a financial deficit having a successful business man as our countries leader might sound like a smart idea, im curious as to how he would deal with world issues. yes we need someone to create a budget for america, but a business man is trained to look for profit, not look out for the good of the country. question to romney and trump, how are you going to deal with the growing suicide rates among our youth? how are you going to deal with our immigration policy? are you going to fix our relationships with central and south america? how are you going to go about fixing our budget? by cutting things such as health care but keeping tariffs and giving away money to major businesses, which is where these men come from? ruling a country is not solely about business skills, it also has to do with knowing how to direct a country. a business man can only go so far, these men can be great as senators or governors, but never in a million years as president.

Thats all we need another old grummpy white man for president!!!

  5. 5

It makes me sick, he's so gross and greedy. He's so filthy rich that he could actually win if he goes the route of a bought election which Republicans are notorious for through out history. The only hope to be had against him is the amount of dirt dug up on him during the campaign with all the mudslinging that goes around it could very well not only ruin his chance at winning, but damage or even ruin his reputation as a person and possibly businessman. Not a good idea, trump stick to your money mongering ways and leave our countries politics alone.

  6. 6

I would vote for Charlie Sheen if he was my only choice against the worst president in U.S. History, Barack Obama! Trump would be 100 times better than Obama! Obama hates this country, and wants us to be a 3rd class nation!

  7. 7

Hey, he could end up being the next Ronald Regan, and people laughed him off when he got into politics. Or he could end up really hurting the GOP if he comes out a front runner and ends up a joke. To a large extent, you really just don't know how someone is going to work out until you get them in office. There are just too many variables that can't always be predicted before election. Just look at Barry. That is totally surreal and bizarre how that guy ever got elected. And he is an absolute disaster. Trump is an ultra sharp guy and has some good ideas. Whether or not they will transcend nicely into reality is a different story. I guess the wisdom is knowing the difference.

Re: SlaveMeh – He is not white - he is orange. Maybe his healthcare plan would subsidize cheap spray-on tans!

  9. 9

hmm…let me think… ineffective community organizer or successful businessman. I choice the successful businessman hands down! So Obama it looks like, YOUR FIRED!

  10. 10

Re: Genghis Khan – Obama is not a disaster - but he inherited one. In the history of the country, few presidents have gone into office with a bigger mess to clean up. It is funny that this big mess was created by the Republicans yet they take no responsibility for it. Obama is slowly making things better, but it takes time.

Re: Kuka Ortiz – ROTFLMAO!! Seriously?!?! Riiiiiight like the country needed an actor 30 years ago!! LMFAO!!

  12. 12

i vote TRUMP! obama sucks and is just putting us more and more into debt. Trump wants to stop relying on foreign oil and getting us out of debt. We need a smart businessman or our country is completely f**ked. People put your own EGOS aside and actually listen to what he has to say.

  13. 13

    1) I think he would do wonders for our economy. (Yes vote there)
    2) He does not support gay marriage. (No vote there)
    3) He has the potential to either make us a strong respected nation again OR use such a strong arm that nations turn their backs on us. (Neutral vote)

It depends on what is most important… for me… gay marriage is extremely important. So probably no. But I'm shocked, he did make me at least consider voting for a Republican.

  14. 14

Well he has no chance in hell, but self-promotion is his shtick… so he might as well milk it.

  15. 15

the corporations have more political power than ever, they're running the country, deregulating everything, bribing all the republican politicians, almost bankrupted the whole country 2 years ago and now a corporate asshole wants to be the president????? is this a joke???? people are so afraid of terrorists but they never mention THE DOMESTIC ENEMIES!!! WHY NOT???? those corporate assholes are VERY, VERY ORGANIZED CRIME, they want nothing but steal all the money from the poor in order to give it to the rich. is everyone blind????? what the fuck is going on? we need to stop this nonsense or those people will kill us!

  16. 16

I will most likely vote Republican in the next election, but I don't think Trump is the right candidate.

  17. 17

donald trump, sit your racist ass down, you know damn well you don't want to run for president, the only thing you like running is your big fat mouth.

  18. 18

"I wish I didn't have to do this."–Dude, you literally don't. Please, no one listen to the dribble coming out of this man's mouth. Whether Republican, Democrat, Green Party, anything; voting Donald Trump into office will not be beneficial to this nation. Republicans? Please, don't let him get past the primary. For the love of everything wonderful, don't let him get past the primary. There are legitimate, intelligent options out there. Trump is not one of them.

Re: rosebud99 – Just wait until the next president inherits a complete total disaster of an economic, social and geo-polictial system from our man Obama

  20. 20

Let's see. Trump's platform seems to be that Obama was born in Kenya and that the U.S. should invade countries and take their oil. About 30% of the population is bugsh*t insane enough to vote for him, but luckily that is not enough to get him elected president.

  21. 21

The creep could have "Meatloaf" as his running mate. Donald Trump is a big liar . He'll never win. Stick to what you know best Donald, building the ugliest buildings ever and bringing more B list celebs out of retirement for you're hideous tv show

  22. 22

he'll be another ronald reagan. thats what our country needs

    23

Just being a business man does not qualify you to be President. The Presidency is more then just balancing the budget and Trump has had several of his own businesses go bankrupt. The new govenor of my state is the owner of Mardens and trust me he sucks. He thought all we needed was a business man. He's cut programs for the poor and has done a horrible job so far. He's pretty much insulted every nationality in the state. Someone is bound to try and kill him before his 4 years are up at the rate he's going. Trump would be as bad as a choice as Sarah Palin would be.

  24. 24

Or it could be hes solely doing it for press for his show? ……Idiotic sheeple my god

  25. 25

To the people that don't support him: what don't you support?

  26. 26

DONALD TRUMP IS A FUCKING LIAR. FIRST OFF - HIS DAD BUILT UP THE TRUMP EMPIRE NOT HIM. 2ND HE IS NOT THE RICHEST PERSON IN NY STATE AS HE CLAIMS. ACCORDING TO ABC 20/20 A FEW YRS BACK, HE'S ONLY RANKED 6-7TH IN WEALTH. WIKI SAYS HE'S ONLY WORTH $2.7 BILLION, LESS THAN OPRAH!!!! DUDE NEEDS TO STICK TO MAKING FAILED REAL ESTATE DEALS AND STUPID ASS REALITY SHOWS. NEXT!!

  27. 27

I voted for McCain in 2008 but I really love President Obama. I believe his intent is to do as best as he can by the American people. I think he's a very honorable man who respects our country and his responsibilities to it.
Like Newt Gingrich, Donald Trump doesn't even honor the trust of his wives.

  28. 28

I think he would be great. We need someone with business experience. Someone who will speak there mind - not bend over and take it from everyone because they are people pleasers. Trump for 2012!

  29. 29

It's about time someone spoke out about the collapse of America and the rest of the world is just waiting to see the US fail. Can you blame him for hating all this? I wish he would get in. Gay marriage is important and the gays will continue to go after their right to marry and it'll happen but come on. Someone like Trump has got to go in and give educated people a chance to rebuild America instead of it being known as a red neck nation. I worked too hard putting myself through college to be surrounded by all this love me for who I am even if I decided to party my life away. Give the US back to the ones who have worked hard to make something of themselves. I want a job and not told by employers that I am over educated. This is nuts!

  30. 30

He needs to stick to tv and business… I can't stand these delusional republicans. They always try to create some type of stupid drama. Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Donald Trump, Rush Limbagh… ALL OF THESE PEOPLE DISGUST ME! I can't believe we have people like them living in the U.S.

    31

from an outsiders point of view there is a zero percent chance that you gain any respect with having Donald Trump as your president.. seriously this is getting beyond funny and starting to become sad.. if you think a businessman is going to be good for your country then you really have no idea how a business works.. plus if you don't know anything about Trump other then you think he's a good businessman then you really don't know anything about Trump.. because he's a mediocre businessman at best… between Palin and Trump I don't know if you guys could become a bigger joke but I'm sure you'll find a way too..

  32. 32

No, he won't get my vote, but I'll continue to watch The Apprentice. I think its just a stunt.

  33. 33

    I like him!

  34. 34

I hope he gets the republican nomination. He is not one tenth the man Obama is. he will lose. Anyone who thinks obama put the U.S. in debt is retarded. Bill Clinton left the White House with fiscally balanced budget. George Bush funneled TRILLIONS to the mideast to keep his families and associates trust funds lubricated with oil.

  35. 35

The sad thing is: I wouldn't be surprised if he became president one day. I don't understand why Americans put themselves in this position. But it's happened before, and it will happen again. Good luck!

  36. 36

Go Donald! Get that muslim out of office!

  37. 37

Re: buck – Yes, like our man inherited all the shit that was for all the years Bush was in office. Yeah, you Republicans have real short memories for crap like that. This President inherited the worst economy ever, the worst senate ever (they all fight against him) - hmmm, wonder if it could be because he's BLACK? Oh heck no, you're not racists are you?

  38. 38

I honestly can't believe that anyone would think that Trump would make a good candidate for president. Really??…and how do you think this would improve American's view at home or overseas. He's openly admitted that his foreign policy would be to 'screw' over questionable leaders through realestate deals and to go in and steal the oil from Libya (wait, leave them with enough to survive though). This guy is an ass of a candidate with no real foreign policy or social policy but rather a business policy on how to improve the economy. His suggestions, may I remind you are coming from a guy that his multiple bankruptcies…should I remind you of the last guy to have bankruptcies on his hands - GWB!! America doesn't need a business man - they need someone to LEAD!!!!

  39. 39

I agree with Rosebud @ 10 and Susie-Q @ 37. We remember the year when Clinton took over the position and Obama couple of years ago. Those were not that long time ago. I don't believe that we all have that short term memory for not remembering those? After 8 years of disaster, how can people expect that Obama will wave his magic wand and Simsalabim everything will be back to normal??? Nobody can do that whether he/she is white, black, or orange. Clinton did a very good job he turned the economic from big minus to surpluss. So give Obama a break. He did some progress already……all we need to do is being able to see the good things that he already did and he is still trying so hard to make this country a better place, economically, security etc.

  40. 40

I say he's got as much a right as anyone to throw his hat in the ring. I'll listen to him. Let the games begin.

Ebola's got to go. And he can take mooshelle, "For the first time in my life, I'm proud of my country," with him.

  41. 41

He has a bigger company? What's his company? The only thing I know about Trump is that he likes to fire people a lot and he is filthy rich….I don't like either of those qualities… Next candidate please…
