We're okay with this. This way, they'll be with adults they know and will be able to be in contact with their mother when she finally gets her act together.
As a judge will decide today the fate of Charlie Sheen's twin boys, Moira Fiore, Brooke Mueller's mother, has come forward to offer her home and love to her grandchildren. She is telling friends that she would gladly take custody of the kids if it means keeping them away from Charlie, who she deems "unsuitable" to care for them. She told one friend:
"We've been with the kids since they were born, and Charlie has only seen the kids a couple of times in the last few months."
Well, to be fair, that's what was agreed upon during the last custody hearing. He would have been around more had Brooke or his demanding touring schedule allowed it.
But we see what you are getting at and we totally agree. Charlie is still unstable, that much anyone can see and Brooke is no better off right now. The boys need family to look after them and surely they have spent a lot of time with Moira since they were officially put in Brooke's care. The transition will be much easier for them then say, hoping on a jet plane with a bunch of loud, rambunctious strangers.
