Rebecca Romijn Teams Up With Tyler Perry!

Romijn And Perry Team Up

Rebecca Romijn has joined Tyler Perry's next movie, called Good Deeds (it's called that because the main character's name is Glen Deeds, played by Perry. Do you get it? Do you understand why it's called that?? LOLz), and they aim to start shooting in Atlanta at the end of the month!

Romijn will play a former corporate executive who would rather choose motherhood. Also signed on is Thandie Newton, Phylicia Rashad, Gabrielle Union, Brian White, Eddie Cibrian, and Jamie Kennedy.

Perry's last few movies were not critical successes, so we'll hold off on being excited about this one until we hear a little more about it!

We're sure, however, that with Rebecca on board that it'll turn out the way it should!

Good luck everyone shooting this month!

Are U excited for this movie?

I use to be an advid Tyler Perry fan. I've seen all of his movies, own the DVD's and saw his recent play twice (NYC, Houston). However, after befriending him on FB and getting his newletter, I realize that he tries to manipulate his fan base into not only seeing his movies, but into buying products of his "friends". That's just not right and I've started to get turned off by Tyler Perry.

I don't find his crap watchable. He needs to stop though. Really. Please. Medea was funny the first 17 times and his "relationship" dramas are so cliche, it's all tired and lame.

Re: Blunt – I know it's 4-20 and all, but he said they weren't CRITICAL successes which means critics are as tired as his remade plots as everyone else. Twilight made a butt ton of money, that doesn't make them good. It just means that the American pulbic will watch anything.

His movies are elementary, predictable and pretty damn bad. Bringing Rebecca would be an obvious choice because she's all of the above………yawn - BTW, HE'S THE BIGGEST CLOSET CASE EVER!!!!!!

I like his movies, can't wait for Big Happy Family to come out in a few days. They're not oscar contenders but they're funny, have family/religious themes, sure predictable (not a bad thing) and just a fun time. Wonder what he'll do with Rebecca. Although with Jamin Kennedy on there, it's prolly going to be stupid/funny.

@Blunt. Get a clue moron. He said CRITICAL success. Not COMMERCIAL success. His movies make money but they are always universally panned. And not because he's black (which I'm sure will be your next arguement), but because they are CRAP FILMS.

Okay I can smell cheezy chickflick a mile away but this film looks really good for a chickflick/romcom and finally a white person is cast in a Tyler Perry film. Kathy Bates was the last lead female role who was white in the family that preys.
