Judge Allows MJ Autopsy Photos In Dr. Murray Trial

| Filed under: Legal MattersMichael Jackson

Yikes. We would not want to be on that jury.

A judge has allowed the prosecutors to present two photos taken during Michael Jackson's autopsy as evidence in the manslaughter case against Dr. Conrad Murray.

One of the photos shows a clothed MJ while laid out on a gurney.

Another shows MJ's naked body that will have "certain parts blocked out," according to the judge.

The judge confirms that the photos are NOT "gruesome, graphic or inflammatory" and insists that they are relevant to the case.

Just thinking about those photos gives us chills down our spines.

BUT, they are necessary and could possibly prove whether or not Dr. Murray should be convicted of manslaughter.

Murray did commit Manslaughter and he should be convicted of the crime but I don't see how showing these pictures will be vital to the case?? But then again I'm no prosecuter…. It just seems really sad and disrespectful to me and I hope and pray that his family won't have to be present when these pictures are presented. I would think the footage of Michael taken shortly before he was killed would be more sufficient.. if they can find it. The autopsy report is pretty damn sufficient too but I'm pretty curious to know why the pictures are important.

I'm sure if you got your hands on the photos you would post them all over this site! You're disgusting, fatboy.

if micheal didnt get drugs from his doctor he would have gotten it somewhere i dont think murray should be convicted

It does not matter if Michael asked for the rx drugs or not.It does not matter if he self-injected (which is highly unlikely with the way the I.V was set up) What makes Murray guilty is the following: 1) he administered an anesthetic at a home instead of a hospital setting without proper monitoring of his one patient. 2) he lied to paramedics and UCLA Doctors and omitted the fact that he had given his patient Propofol 3) It took him 2 days after Michaels death to admit the use of Propofol once he saw the LAPD was investigating him.4) He has changed his story already more then 3 times since 06/25/09 about what happened when he left Michael alone(in terms of what he was doing) 5) He said he was trying to ween Michael off of the Propofol what guess what he still ordered more then a dozen vials of Propofol and sent them to his girlfriends house (which btw is against HIPAA violations/patient-Dr. confidentiality was broken there). 6) he asked a security memeber to hide and "clean up" the room of any evidence before contacting 911 when his one patient was dead or taking his last breaths.
IIn terms of the pictures being shown I think that no one wants to see a picture of anyone dead. But I think it will help the jury see what state Michael was and any needle marks that were on his body. I think its a good idea.
I hope for Michaels childrens sake that this man is convicted for his unmoral behavior and neglect of his one patient.

I think it would be a nice touch in the court room if when the pictures are being shown, "Thriller" could be softly heard over the intercom.

oh shut up perez, you would love to be on that jury and you would love to see the autopsy pictures too, and even more you wouldnt think twice about publishing them either!!
well lucky for you, you would be the LAST person to be chosen for jury service on this case, being impartial has never been one of your strong points!

Re: MJ fan59 – i too cant understand why these pictures are of so much importance that the judge has allowed them to be shown. im all for anything and everything being done to make sure murray cannot squeeze his sorry lieing backside out of this but i cant deny i was shocked when i read about this.

Jackson hired Murray to protect him and monitor him to prevent exactly what happened from happening. He told the nurse Cheryl Lee that he knew he would be ok because he had a doctor monitoring him. If he hadn't hired Murray to protect and monitor him he would have hired someone else to protect and monitor him and would still be alive. He trusted Murray completely.

From what I've read elsewhere the pictures are being allowed because they bolster the prosecution claim, and the autopsy report, that Jackson was in good health. Scenes from "This Is It", shot the night before he died, will also be shown which will form a stark contrast to the autopsy photos.
