Public Donates Thousands To William And Kate's Wedding Fund
The big day is almost here and thousands of people are contributing as much as possible to the royal wedding.
Prince William and Catherine (Kate) Middleton have set up a charity wedding fund so that people can donate £££ in lieu of sending wedding gifts.
Seems like people have been beyond generous as the fund has generated donations somewhere in the six figures.
With just a little over a week away, the numbers are sure to rise, especially with George Michael urging fans to contribute when they download his wedding gift to the couple, a version of Stevie Wonder's You and I.
It's so wonderful that Wills and Kate are using their special day as an opportunity to raise money for charity. And we're even more impressed at how much the public has donated.
Sooooo excited for the big day!

What a joke!!! How is the wedding of rich people charity?
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! They live in a bloody palace, what more could these arrogant assholes want? I live in the UK and I'm not donating one penny to their wedding. I have a future to think about thank you very much. And with the recent cuts and raises on taxes and university tuition, I believe the only people who deserve to be given money are the poor citizens of the UK.

What? Are you crazy? Our taxes support these people, the LEAST they can do is encourage donations to charity, it's their job. The British tax payer supports major and minor members of the royal family, none of them have real jobs so becoming involved in charity is essentially part of their job. Princess Di kissed the hand of sick kids, so what, what else was she going to do with her time? They leech off Britian so it's their duty to give something back. I'd be more impressed if one of them did a real days work!
