14-Year-Old Cancer Survivor Gets Cyberbulled By Her Own BEST FRIEND!!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooSad SadPerezTV

This is UNREAL.

After surviving cancer and losing her leg to the disease, North Andover Middle School student Justine Williams had to endure another painful experience in her life.

Justine had received over 90 text messages from an unknown number that had written such horrible things like, "I'm going to kill your animals," and "Set a bomb off outside your house," and "I'm going to rape you."

After a month of of receiving the messages, Justine's parents eventually went to the police to discover that the culprit was in fact, her classmate and BEST FRIEND.

Her friend had even SKYPED with her, then sent her the messages from the unknown number, just to see her reaction.

CRAZY. Absolutely crazy.

The bully was ordered to attend 8 counseling sessions and perform 20 hours of community service.

Um, yes. That's it.

This is so disgusting and for such behavior to be done at the hands of your own best friend is just unbelievable.

Our heart reaches out to this poor girl.

That poor girl, suffering at the hands of such a shitty friend. And this isn't the first awful story to come from North Andover lately, either. Is there something in the water that makes them act like jerks out there?

  2. 2

you just don't know what is going on in some people's minds (but never mind congress). sorry about that, but I would like to know when they became 'friends, bestest friends', you know, if it was after the diagnosis? Why? Because some people 'hop on board the pity train' Yes, even at that young age. If they became friends after she became sick, bff might have enjoyed being the one who 'helped, sacrificed, cared, etc. etc.' 'YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD FRIEND!!!' AND ENJOYED THE PERKS THE SICK GIRL GOT. But, maybe, she got too jealous to the attention the sick 'friend' got.

  3. 3

Poor girl :-\. Ironic that you always post these stories though Mario, since you were once a cruel cyber bully.

  4. 4

If they were friends before she became sick, she probably was jealous of all the attention she got, never mind possible death, losing a leg, BFF was mad at all the attention the one leg girl was getting, special tx, extra time in school, etc. and had to bring her back DOWN to where she was before. If they were older BFF, she would be the type to sleep with her husband. for sure

  5. 5

That is awful. This "cyber bully's" name should be released and she should have to make a public apology. It's these lenient law makers that allow this to continue.

  6. 6

girls are the worst to each other

  7. 7

    WTF is wrong with people?!

  8. 8

    sadly nothing surprises me anymore

  9. 9

this is Massachusetts, land of the despicable people! come to boston and you'll understand why…

  10. 10

Can I please go kick a little teenagers bitch ass?? Please? And not go to jail over it? That little whore has some major karma coming to her or him, whomever it is!!

  11. 11

With friends like that little evil witch who the fucks needs enemies.

  12. 12

This is no fluke, no prank, that girl is a sociopath, just imagine what she will grow up to do?

  13. 13

Justine, thanks for speaking out. Stay strong and use this to do well in the world. You would be a perfect spokesperson to go to schools and talk about cyber bullying. I wish your school would have expelled her though. And this is way too lenient of a punishment. And to the bully's parents: wow, you must be proud!!

  14. 14

Is this not the equivalent of murdering small animals???? That's the first thing professionals want to know about a sociopath. The young lady needs protection from this fiend. This young woman needs protection from this crazy. Don't wait "until something happens" before the authorities protect this child. God, what a crazy world we live in!!!!

but perhaps we should consider as well that a teen ager, that have seen her best friend risking to die for a cancer and suffering terribly for an amputation, should be a shocking experience too.
perhaps that was a traumatic serie of events that she couldn't just handle herself without help.
To Repeat a traumatic event, with considerable variations -like black sense of humor-, it's a way to go over it.
Of course this can't be a new reason for justine to suffer, and this crime got to be persecuted, BUT this could make us (adult) think about the effects of mediatic exposition of extreme real feelings on teenagers.

Re: carinacarina – Exactly what I was thinking. That was A LOT more than the typical teenage mean girl nonsense. 8 counseling sessions will not be enough for that psycho. Something awful is wrong with that girl.

  18. 18

Wow! J, STAY STRONG! So happy you have amazing parents and that you are on your road to recovery!

  19. 19

fuck that kid. how bout the world turns a blind eye while the community and her parents show that fucking"friend" what bulling feels like. Counseling and com service? this is nothing compared to the permanent feelings of betrayal and sorrow this girl has to live with. THis is how serial killers are born I was bullied my whole life i came out strong but not every one does and YES it sticks with you even with all my successes and triumphs.

  20. 20

Bombing and raping threats just to get community service? The crazy friend should of gotten a harder punishment just for being a unfunny jackass.

  21. 21

What a horrible story. I hope that the bully gets what is coming their way. Karma is a real mother.. Stay strong Justine you are a million times better then your ex friend will ever be.

  22. 22

I feel terrible for the victim but I think something is going on in her bullies life too….she has terrible self esteem and is hurting her friend to make herself feel better. She definitely needs help…and I hope that she apologizes deeply to the poor girl who she hurt.

  23. 23

That fucking piece of shit "best friend" should be brought up before a firing squad and obliterated. One less jerk-off roaming the face of the Earth.

Psychologists should come up with a diagnosis for this. I had a friend who would write horrible reviews on our bosses and never got caught because she was so sweet to them. The bosses always suspected another employee and gave that employee a hard time.

  25. 25

The hell? Some best friend. What in the name of hell would cause her to do that?

  26. 26

That is terrible that her friend would do that to her. Such a betrayal! The world is so messed up with people lately. I really hope this girl can put this behind her and move on. My heart goes out to her.

  27. 27

WOW thats really creepy & sadistic how she'd skype her to see her reaction as she got the texts…odviously shes unstable & has some deep mental issues, she needs to be in a mental ward cause god knows what shes really capable of… future psycho killer

  28. 28

no one can stab a girl in the back harder than another girl. then they grow up to be women who stab other women in the back.

  29. 29

That's just.. wow. Something is seriously wrong with that girl's head. Doing crap like that and wanting to see her reaction? How frickin psycho do you have to be?
Like a serial killer that likes to have eye contact with a victim when they kill them.

  30. 30

Am I the only one who thinks it's odd/weird/horrible the parents "finally decided" after a MONTH to see who was doing this?

  31. 31

baby girl needs a new best friend, and old best friend needs a lot of help - she is really sick

  32. 32

disgusting. shocking how cruel someone could be to their so called best friend as if this girl hasn't been through enough. IMO i think the bff was jealous of all the attention or something but she should be sent to a young offenders institute or something not just counselling!

  33. 33

This is truly repulsive. If any of the attacks via text happened during school hours, then that little sociopath should've been EXPELLED. My heart goes out to this young lady who has certainly endured more than her share of bullshit. I wonder… if it was a BOY who threatened her with sexual assault and murder, he'd probably be put in juvenile hall and listed as a sex offender until he turned 18. The DA is an idiot and you can be DAMN sure that the bully in this case will continue thinking it's okay to torture people.

  34. 34

There really is no help for sociopaths like this, they just learn to act and react appropriately but inside their twisted little souls, nothing changes.

  35. 35

Our "legislators" need to pass laws, both on the Federal and State level, in which bullies, cyber or otherwise, have jail sentences, fines and community service imposed on them for committing these horrendous acts. Perhaps some time sitting in a jail cell and a large fine waiting for them when they're released from prison, will make them realize the pain that they've caused an innocent victim. And, some time speaking to young people, about their "experience" as a result of the crime they committed, may help other bullies to realize the harm they are causing. Bullying is not one of these actions that will "get better" at some point. People harm or kill themselves as a result of the pain that it causes them. Sometimes it takes harsh punishment to make people see the error of their ways.

  36. 36

I feel so horribly for Justine, what a brave girl..but this goes beyond bullying. Chick needs a SERIOUS psychological evaluation. Thats serial killer behavior, praying on somebody they see as "weak" (such as someone who's been sick) and virtually getting off on it. Yea, forget those 8 counseling sessions…won't do anything. Some people are just not fit to be around other humans.

  37. 37

Re: jewelsinme – maybe its cuz the girl didnt go to her parents until a month after she started getting those messages. most kids do not automatically go to their parents when they get bullied or get into fights, normally they try to deal with it on their own.

  38. 38

Re: kathie! – apologize deeply? due tell me how that is going to help the situation? everyone deals with self esteem issues amongst other things, but that does not give the person a right to take it out on another person. we have something called will power, but most people would rather make excuses than take responsibility. how dare you compare one kid who has never experienced ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder) to another kid that under went treatment due to cancer, having to deal with not having hair for a long time and then removing her leg leaving her to use crutches for the rest of her life when she's not wearing the prosthetic.

  39. 39

I know this girl! I work with her mom and she is legit the sweetest girl I have ever met. She and her family have been through so much! Her "friend" needs much more then just the slap on the wrist she is getting!
