screenwriter kevin jarre passes away

Hollywood has lost a very talented screenwriter WAY before his time.

Screenwriter Kevin Jarre has passed away at 56-years-old from unexpected heart failure.

Jarre's screenwriting credits include Tombstone and Glory. He was also a co-writer/executive producer on Stephen Sommers' The Mummy.

Kevin Jarre's adoptive father was legendary Lawrence of Arabia/Ghost composer Maurice Jarre, who passed away two years ago.

Our thoughts go out to Jarre's family, friends, and peers during this very difficult time.

To this day, Glory is still shown in history classrooms. Kevin's work will be remembered.

    how tragic
was a genius in his own way
    an original
    prayers to his family
Glory was one fo the most powerful, memorable films I've seen…
unlike like most of todays rehashed old movies, Glory is one worth adding to your video collection
We have lost more than the brilliant man, we are also losing his future body of brillaint work.
    what a loss….
