This will be a change of pace from Mission: Impossible and Rock of Ages!

Tom Cruise has reportedly signed on to portray every politician ever a cheating politician in a new, still-untitled flick written by Disney scribe Dan Fogelman! The film will apparently focus on Cruise's character heading back to his hometown to piece his life together after being shamed by the affair.

Inneresting! It looks as though they're both taking pretty creative leaps here! Not bad!

What do U think?? Will U want to check this one out??

If Tom's in, I'm out. Lost interest in him years ago.

Yes. This will be good for him. I don't think he can pull off action hero roles anymore because people's perception of him has changed so much. But something like this is more real and believable. I don't mean that in a bad way, because I like Tom. But it is true.

Give the guy some credit. He's really a fine actor- plays a great hetero.

  4. 4

i actually never really found him to be that great an actor, he always seemed like he was over acting and tried too hard, but this role actually sounds kind of interesting for him.

  5. 5

It won't be a stretch for him to play a cheater. How in the heck did his adopted, black son, Connor, manage to have identical features as Tom?

I think it is time, LONG PAST TIME, for YOU to stop using 'Inneresting' WTF? Why do you USE THAT? It looks so UNEDUCATED. As for Cruise, he is TOO SHORT and as he gets older, he will look like a joke. (like using 'Inneresting' into your 40's). So, if the script is good, he SHOULD be able to pull it off, he has never done anything great in the drama mode where he is NOT SHOUTING and/or SHOOTING.

I've already seen "True Colors" with Travolta.

What's going on with his hair and eyebrows?! And as Biana said, I never really found him to be a great actor, either.

Someone is desperately trying to look like a young man again.
Kinda pathetic, a la Michael Douglas.

Re: caroaber – This role isn't someone trying to be a young man again. It's age appropriate, and isn't just Cruise being a superhero. Don't like Cruise?
