Toddler Shoots Mother In The Back With Father's Gun!

| Filed under: Legal MattersSad Sad

Ugh! This is so heartbreaking and exactly why guns need to be LOCKED UP!

A two-year-old toddler shot and killed his mother after getting a hold of his father's gun in South Florida.

The father frantically called 911 after he tried to take the gun away from his son, resulting in an accidental discharge, which fatally wounded the mother.

The father was not married to the mother and did not live with her at the time of the shooting, which further calls into question WHY there was a gun left carelessly lying around the house in the first place!

Unfortunately with the mother gone, authorities may never know exactly what happened because there are no other witnesses. The police will talk to the toddler, but "due to the age" they're "not expecting to get much."

The father could be facing obvious charges of negligence for leaving a loaded weapon lying around, if not worse.

Police spokeswoman said in a statement:

"This should serve as a reminder to all parents out there to not leave firearms accessible to children. Even if you believe the firearm is not loaded, it's just not smart. It's not safe."

Check out the sad, sad news story above to hear the fathers frantic 911 call after the shooting and PLEASE take all necessary precautions to prevent this from ever happening again!

Do U think this is a case of negligence or could the father have a more sinister responsibility in this poor woman's death?

Now everyone is gonna blame liberals for wanting more gun control. They forget that when it comes to this issue these insanely tragic issues always speak louder than words.

  2. 2

Dude, can't you just stick to who's-banging-who stories? I come to gossip sites so I can escape the misery of my life and the world I live in. If I wanted to read about shit like this, I'd go to abc or cnn. Jesus!

  3. 3

OMG!!!!! That poor little toddler! How does that dumbass father tell his baby he killed his mommy? How horrible! Shame shame on that father for leaving a loaded weapon lying around a TWO year old!

  4. 4

Perez do you ever really research your articles before you post them…..dumbass!

First this happened some days ago…thanks for being so late!!! If you would have done your research….you would know that the guy used in the shooting, that there is no way a 2 year old could pull the trigger, so they are looking at the father. Oh F.Y.I. the father is a lying bastard….his current wife that he lives with had no idea that he had this other 2 yr. old child or was seeing the child's mother.

So next time do the research before making yourself look like the ass you are!

Huh color me suspicious but something in this story sounds fishy. Maybe the dad killed her and made up this story.

  6. 6

Queue all the anti gun hippies in 3..2…1.

Don't blame the firearm, Blame the idiotic dumbass parent that probably shouldn't of been allowed to breed in the first place. Which is funny, If a few idiots blow their hands off with fireworks they get banned. Kid gets a hold of mom/dads weapon and shoots someone ban guns..Why can't we ban idiots from breeding? How about that? That would work a thousand times better than any type of "control".

This is a perfect way to commit murder. He may serve time but certainly not as much if he got caught the normal way. im gonna do it! Only I'm gonna make sure she is insured up to the eyeballs first!

  8. 8

Aaaaand this is why people make fun of us Americans..

  9. 9

Explain that story to the kid when he's 12. :)

  10. 10

the father owns the gun, and the kid is just a kid, the father is responsible for the death.

    Re: mattyvoyager – uuuuuuuuummmm…….WOW….just Wow….thats all.

  12. 12

C'mon fucknut… stick to celebrity juice not from concentrate. You're not CNN.. fucking idiot.

You have GOT to be kidding me! "Guns need to be LOCKED UP!" is not what needs to happen - everyone should protect themselves, but RESPONSIBLY.

No, the gun should not have been left out and "hot," of course not, that's irresponsible. I've shot this gun before, like the dude said you've gotta get past the safety. So the boyfriend or mom had the gun "ready."

But what really irritates me about your article is when you state "A two-year-old toddler shot and killed his mother," because that's not a fact. At least you saved yourself at the end by stating "Do U think this is a case of negligence or could the father have a more sinister responsibility in this poor woman's death?" because more than likely the later is true. I have a son, at two he couldn't even shoot his fake revolver. It's possibly, but highly unlikely.

Thank you for your article, but don't try to sway people and then backpedal, it's bad journalism.

    Re: juwannaman
no kidding …this right away made not much sense that a 3 yr old could access a gun…is it possible the kid did it? yes…do i think its waaaay more likely this guy who doesnt live with her shot her and is trying to put the gun in the hands of a 3 yr old and claim he did it?
i hope they can do forensics that tell for sure…it sounds ultra shady to me……

You seriously put a commercial in front of this to make money off of it? You really have no fucking shame at all!

  16. 16

sure i bet the dad did it.

  17. 17

That is awful! Can you imagine when this little baby grows up and finds out it was him that killed his mother? This is definitely a case of negligence (and stupidity) because why is there a loaded gun laying around when there's children present? I don't know about a "sinister" plot on the part of the father. We've seen too often "innocent" men claiming they didn't do anything to kill the woman in their life only to find out later they did the dirty deed. I don't know who is stupid enough to do that so I'm on the fence about the father deliberately leaving the loaded gun out in plain view of a curious toddler.

  18. 18

Ok, when you shoot a gun it leaves a gun powder residue on your hands. All they have to do is test the babies hands for it. But I'm SURE they thought of that. We'll know shortly. If that dad gets arrested, we know the baby didn't do it.

  19. 19

What a crock. He killed her and was trying to set up this scenario that the toddler did it. LOL

  20. 20

Perez, are you a complete idiot? Stick to gossip! The father "claimed" that his two year old son shot the child's mother. The gun was a glock 9mm automatic, which reportedly weighs 3 lbs when loaded. It's also apparently not an easy gun to use to get your target. And with 1 shot the mother is dead? Toddlers need to be presumed innocent too.

  21. 21

am i the only one that has a very difficult time believing a two year old could even pull the trigger on a gun without help?

  22. 22

He sounds like "FML, they're gonna think I did it… oh God why'd this happen to me"… no remorse… but it's weird the things you think when in high stress scenario. The more likely case is the father killed her, however I will reserve judgement until the facts are laid out. The guy sounds like English isn't his first language, so that woman's arguement about the word choice is invalid, especially, again, in a high stress situation. I wouldn't be able to speak French to a dispatcher if I just saw my man shot

OMG WTF IS UP WITH THE BODYY LANGUAGE LADY? SHES EFFING LAUGHING? THIS SHIT IS NOT FUNNY!!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL SHES A JOKE.

  24. 24

First of all, just like the news reporter said, all the father was saying is that the woman is on the ground. I do not believe that people react in different ways when it comes to saving someones life. What I mean is if your ex wife or ex-girlfriend got shot you want to apply pressure to the wound. Does he? No… That is odd… That he doesn't try to do something or ask what to do. Then he said that he has the gun; but later says it's on the couch? The real question is, how did the toddler get the gun in the first place? The father said he got it from the ground? Well, how did it get there? Did mother take it out because she felt threatened in her home? If she did, why was she threatened? The only person that didn't belong there was the father… Sounds all a bit off to me.

  25. 25

First of all the sound on this video is awful. Can't hear anything. Second, the father of the kid said right on the 911 call that his son was THREE years old not 2. Read it over again. 3 not 2. I have seen and heard of good stories before but this one takes the cake. My mind sees it as he puts the gun in the kids hand and pulls the trigger so the kid has his fingerprints on the gun and also has gunshot residue on his hands. Accidently went off when he tried to take it away my ass. I hope the cops down there aren't as stupid as the cops in LA and if they are he will literally get away with murder.

  26. 26

Re: NookiesWA – You'll be the first one in that line.
Now …on topic, there's no way that the guy had left the gun there since he isn't living there. I think it's pretty obvious that he killed her.

  27. 27

How does a two year old fire a gun. I bet we are not getting the whole story here. Sounds more than a little suspicious.

  28. 28

If you actually read the real story, not Perez's liberal agenda version of it, it's quite obvious the guy shot the woman, and kid had nothing to do with it. It's not about gun control, it's murder, plain and simple.

Re: xsimix – EXACTLY! also, the "baby shot the mother" in the BACK….now, if the father was "trying to take the GUN away" from the baby, wouldnt the commotion startle the mom? Why would she be turning her back on her child who has a GUN? Like say the dad screamed "NO, GIVE ME THAT!!!"…wouldnt the mom turn and FACE them and therefore get shot in the STOMACH? …it sounds as though the mom was unsuspecting and was shot….what a coincidence that a BABY would have such aim and shoot his mom as she's walking AWAY….

  30. 30

Biggest bullshit story ever! I hardly think a 2 year old can lift a gun let alone pull the trigger.

  31. 31

That poor kid is likely going to need a lifetime of therapy. if he did shoot his mother, I have no doubt that his father's finger was on top of his helping him pull the trigger.

Re: sockie – if he's a fucking idiot than what are the people who take the time to vist his site even though they hate him? Seriously people, if you despise him and his articles bother you so much, then don't visit his site. Verbally abusing him and calling him names only makes you look bad. You are a lot like what he used to be, actually your worse because he changed not to mention said nothing in this article to deserve being bullied which is exactly what you are doing.
