Do you know that calling someone "hot ass" in some circles is considered unwanted advances or sexual advances? It can be considered demeaning especially if you do not know if that person wanted to be called that. Equality for all! Women have endured talk like that and generally it is not good!

What is with the obsession with straight men and boys? Seriously, you wonder why you are single? You are not a 14 year old girl Punkinhead, no matter how many princess stars you wish on.

    Marriage isn't a right dipshit!!!!

Side note i could careless who you want to marry. Just saying you are wrong every time you say equal rights for all!!!

Equal rights = civil unions. You can obviously have the same rights under another heading. You don't need to join the exact same group to have the same rights. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. A group of homosexuals and a group of heterosexuals are two different types of groupings. One has the ability to make a family without the advent of science or adoption agencies. They are different groups but they can join different unions and share the same rights just like the Boy Scout and Girl Scouts.

When marriage was created it was long before adoption agencies and sperm clinics. It was born out of the male female relationship and that is still one to be held highly. You will ALWAYS need two sexes to make a child. It was not born out of prejudice and it has the right to maintain it's uniqueness and those that don't enter into marriage can enter into a relationship with all the same rights and euqality as marriage does to the members of it's grouping.

not all heterosexuals are able to procreate. you have heard of the term barren right?
Various marriage practices have existed throughout the world. In some societies an individual is limited to being in one such couple at a time (monogamy), while other cultures allow a male to have more than one wife (polygyny) or, less commonly, a female to have more than one husband (polyandry). Some societies also allow marriage between two males or two females. Societies frequently have other restrictions on marriage based on the ages of the participants, pre-existing kinship, and membership in religious or other social groups.

civil unions are not federally recognized, and therefore do not receive the same federal benefits such as social security and citizenship (although the GOP might get rid of both). so…. its not equal rights.

Perez, have you ever thought of trying Gay men your own age and in your own league. just sayin.

Marriage is not a "right," girlie. It's an institution that has, for centuries, been for heterosexual couples, and that's the way it should stay. If you want civil unions, that confer the same legal "rights" on gay partners, have at it. But marriage is a heterosexual thing, and I don't give a shit what anyone else says about it. Besides, Perez, I don't know why you're so vocal about the whole thing. Even if gay marriage suddenly became legal everywhere, it's not as though anyone would want YOU. Equal "rights" my ass.

    Re: aaabbbccc
What the HELL does marriage have to do with breeding??? THANKFULLY, not everybody wants to breed.
OH and by the way, what's with that whole boy scout, girl scout talk??! Actually, don't answer that, i'm afraid you're answer will be far too long and it will not make too much sense. One last thing too, marriage was not "created".

I have to disagree with Julianna. She does not support traditional marriage. If you look at history, traditional marriage has nothing to do with two people being in romantic love and choosing to marry each other. Traditional marriage was more like a business merger, with the father selling his daughter to forge an economically advantageous alliance with another family. This is why the Bible says that a rapist should be punished by paying a fine to his victim's father, then he must be forced to marry her. The Bible's take is basically "you break it, you bought it." Traditional marriage was arranged. You didn't pick your own spouse. Your family picked your spouse. And traditional marriage was polygamous. This whole idea of two people choosing to be together out of love is really new. And the comparison of Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts to marriage/civil unions is so stupid I can't believe someone made it. Boy Scouts if a private organization. Marriage is a contractual public institution. HUGE difference. In case you guys have missed the last half century of legal precedent, the doctrine of "separate but equal" was rejected a long time ago. If anything, we should abolish the marriage license completely and issue only civil unions.

issue #1 - marriage has nothing to do with religion or what sex is performed by the partners…it has to do with legal rights..e.g. - inheritance rights, visitation in a hospital, tax exemptions, etc…..
issue #2 - perez - "hot ass husband"…this is sooooooo inappropriate i don't know where to begin…no wonder this sight seems to attract the dunbest of the dumb…today is the day i unsubscribe…..u r an idiot and u attract an inordinate amount of uneducated followers…i am done….
