NASA's Final Space Shuttle Launch Delayed AGAIN

Uh-oh!

NASA's final space shuttle launch has been delayed for a second time.

The shuttle Endeavor was originally scheduled for liftoff on Friday and then was delayed until Monday due to a power unit failure.

An official date has not been set, as mission managers determine how long it will take to make the repairs, but NASA spokesman says:

"We're looking more toward the end of the week, maybe next weekend. We won't know until tomorrow when our next launch opportunity is."

So unfortunate that such a momentous occasion continues to be delayed. We're keeping our fingers crossed that NASA can pinpoint the problem and get the shuttle ready for liftoff for its final voyage.

    Safety first, you douche.

  2. 2

    better safe than sorry

That kind of thing happens all the time. We don't live in a science-fiction movie, you moron.

That damned brides maid ad keeps locking up my computer for a bit when I come to this page. I have a strict policy that if a website annoys me with the advertising three times, I quit visiting. You have one time left.

its not its final space shuttle launch…its Endeavors final launch. The final launch is scheduled for June 28th with the Shuttle Atlantis. Check your facts please

Kinda seems like a bad omen.

Lets hope when it does launch its another Challenger.

    NASA shouldn't be shut down.

Remember that little song you were part of? Rocket to Uranus? How'd that work out for you? Was it as big as Travis Garland? Put up my avatar. Equality for all!

If you knew anything about real news and not just celebrity gossip, you would know this isn't the FINAL space shuttle launch. There's one more and possibly a second one after that. Way to be correct on your reporting.

And you dressed up in a horrific outfit like the late Princess Diana's wedding dress reporting on her son's wedding was so completely inappropriate it's not even funny. That was disgusting. Do you not have any respect for people who lost their lives tragically?! Of course you don't. You don't have one ounce of class in you.

    Re: icefire227
Hope you get run over by a car when you leave home tomorrow morning. Hope the car stops, backs up and runs you over again, to make sure the job's done.

It wasn't the last mission the last time you wrote about it; it's not the last mission now.

The head of NASA, appointed by BO, stated that now one of the main goals of NASA is to improve relations with Muslims.

Its Endeavors last mission, not the entire shuttle program. There is still one more launch scheduled for June 28th tentatively for Shuttle Atlantis. Please correct the headline. It is very misleading. It is also better safe than sorry. I drove to NASA 7 times to see Endeavor fly a couple of years ago. They scrubbed the mission repeatedly but safety comes first.

My boyfriends ex works there and I hope Obama closes down NASA for good because she is a thorn in my side that can do no wrong in his eyes and she will never go away and I hope she burns in hell. What I had to say has nothing to do with this article but whenever I see NASA in the news I get really grumpy and I had to vent somewhere. I really enjoy your website Perez. It makes me take my mind off of things.. until I see NASA.

I've lived on the space coast, and I still live in central Florida. Trust me, they'll drag this launch out as long as possible. Let's hope for a June launch date..lol

Re: rabidnani – I feel for you. I dated a guy that felt that way about his "ex-wife" (although they were never even married). Except she wasn't actually perfect- she had a long face, kids that were made with random dudes, and a job that she only showed up to when she needed coke money. On top of that, she was 31, but dressed like she was 16 *shutters*. I hope things work out for you.

  18. 18

Re: rabidnani – oh yes that's nice, let's shut down a valid scientific organization that represents one of the only ongoing efforts in human exploration because you are so insecure about your boyfriend's ex

its the last for endeavor not for the shuttle program, these things always get delayed which you would know if you were ever interested in it in real life, and it wasn't delayed again, it was estimated to launch no earlier than monday…that does not equal it being set to launch on monday…sorry but you fail big time when you try to talk about science
