I saw this while watching Glee and it moved me to tears. So powerful and inspiring. What a remarkable thing that Dan Savage did, that I am sure has touched countless lives. The interweb can be a pretty amazing thing some times!

Too bad your site has gotten worse.

I've been depressed for the last five years of my life due to bullying and harrasment. Even though I'm still a young child with plenty of time left in High School, I truly do hope it gets better. Seeing messages like this may seem inconsequential to you because you've had the fortune to not be bullied, but for people like me there is so much hope in the world and people are finally beginning to see it.
Not everyone has to be gay, bisexual or lesbian for this message to touch them. I'm a straight girl, but every time I see this ad it literally moves me to tears, because people who have been through similar struggles in their lifetime are sharing their stories and giving hope to people who have none.
I agree with the last comment on the video~
    I have hope.

Three simple words, 'It Gets Better.' Brilliant. It really does. I know it was started for LGBT, but the initiative serves as a flame for us heteros, for teens, for the lonely or even grieving. The web can contribute amazing energy.Re: BraveRadin – Rally your friends around. If no friends, reach out to others and then support each other. Most high school kids are experiencing similar stuff but deny it, bury it and don't talk about it. Use humor. Teens test each other, so a good (previously rehearsed) crack back earns respect and shows you are also to be counted. Good luck to you. It gets better.

Re: BraveRadin – At the time you are in high school it is your whole world. But the real world awaits you and it IS so much better. Hang in there pretty one!! This world is a better place because of you!

I also saw this on Glee and my "husband" and I stopped fast-forwarding through the commercial and rewound. It was a wow moment. Thank you, Google, for doing what's right.

When the part came on where the email (text, tweet?) said, Thanks Dan. Your video saved my life - I did cry. It's so sad to know that people are being bullied to literal death. My favorite part was, "I love you without even knowing you." Agreed.

Re: BraveRadin – Please believe me…these kids that are bullying you are in the best years of their lives. High school is it for them and trust me when I say it will be the only time they will be on top. Keep your head up, you are better than them. Keep smiling and remember…it does get better x
