Simon Cowell To Re-Launch Top Of The Pops?

| Filed under: Music MinuteSimon CowellX FactorReality TV

He hasn't even launched the American X Factor yet, and he's already thinking of what's to come after that!

Simon Cowell is reportedly planning to revamp the iconic BBC music show, Top of the Pops, which was canceled in 2006, but this time, he wants to expand it past just the UK!

He explains:

"It's not cost effective just doing it in the UK. To do it properly it would need to be bigger than one country. It's for a year down the line."

Wow! That sounds pretty ambitious!

But we agree - if they can manage to pull it off, we think that an international version of the show would be a HUGE success! Think about all the talent from different countries that could break into not just the US mainstream, but all over the world!

We'll be keeping an eye on this as it develops!

But don't focus too hard on this yet, Simon! Especially with X Factor still being stuck in the casting process!

I think you're getting ahead of yourself. Just like "Idol" went international, I'm sure there would be individual versions for each country, not just ONE big show.

your such an idiot, why are you such an idiot?? Were you born this way or did you just become an idiot. Your mother should be punished for giving birth to such a terrible son. You are living proof that abortions should be allowed.
