New Godfather Prequel Novel In Development

Move over, Gottis! The Corleone family wants another crack at the limelight!
Mario Puzo's bestselling mafia novel, The Godfather, spawned the Oscar-winning trilogy of films and worldwide norireity. Now, a new novel will hit shelves next summer based off an unproduced screenplay written by Puzo, who died of a heart attack in 1999. The book, The Family Corleone, will read as a prequel to the events of the original novel and will be constructed by Ed Falco, a novelist and ironically, the uncle of actress Edie Falco, aka Carmelo Soprano.
Geez, first Mob Wives, then the Gotti flick, now this. Hollywood's getting mafia crazy!
Paging David Chase! Might be time to dust off that Sopranos: The Motion Picture script you've been hiding!

That's not ironic. It's a coincidence and it's incidental. I hate people using the word ironic incorrectly.
