Amazing!!! So incredible!!!

Chris Hemsworth is well on his way to becoming a household name as his new movie, Thor, just hammered the competition at the box office. The flick took in an impressive $25.5 million on Friday night and an equally impressive $24 million yesterday. Adding those together along with the midnight showing sales gives Thor an extraordinary $66M opening weekend!

That's surely nothing to scoff at!

We think we smell a sequel!!!

Did U go see Thor this weekend? What did U think?

Saw it yesterday and I was surprised by how much I liked it and the theater was PACKED!

I saw it last night. I went because my husband wanted to go see it (he reads Marvel comics) and I knew nothing about what I was about to see. Well, I was really impressed. I loved the story and the strangeness of it. Chris Hemsworth is really really hot. Very buff so ladies will love that. Natalie Portman is in it playing an astrophysicist. She was good, glad they used her and not some annoying "hot" actress of the moment.

I knew this movie was going to be a major hit!

    Can't wait to see it!!

i thought it was good, not great. found hemsworth very likeable though. yet not the same heart as spidey, iron man, or x men. numbers very very good, but not near those marvel classics, and are running below studio expectations. foreign numbers good though. generaly liked critically which is good too.

Hemsworth was great - he definitely stole the show. Reminded me of Heath Ledger - his look, his accent, his likability. I'd love to see a sequel of this movie and SPOILER - they kind of end it in a way that suggests a future movie anyway. I'd definitely recommend people to see it in the theater - it's great with the surround sound :)

Kenneth Branaugh has the ability, if he was allowed to do so, a film solely based on Asgard. Watch the movie Henry V and you will understand (its 4 hours be careful). I think Asgard could be a lord of the rings type film, given that the intro to THIS film felt like scenes from LOTR - flying over the mountains, cities as well as Rivendell. Pretty good job on the design of Asgard, better than Krypton has delivered thus far (from the outside). The story of Odin and Thor is not made up by Stan Lee, and there is so much they could do as a backstory on this one. The word 'Wednesday' is derived from 'Odin' and the word 'Thursday' is derived from 'Thor' if you did not know.

Saw it it 3D. Hemsworth was SO hot in the movie, sigh. I went home and googled him because I couldn't get enough. Good movie!

I absolutely loved the movie. I hope the movie becomes number 1 next week as well! BTW, Tom Hiddleston who played Loki is someone to watch. I was really impressed with his acting. I've never heard of him before but he stole the show with his portrayal of Loki!

I usually don't go in for these kinds of movies, but I loved this one! Great casting, great visuals - Kenneth Branaugh does it again.

Chris Hemsworth, is worth seeing twice. He is very hot in this movie. He comes off if he is not aware of his look, which makes him more attractive. The story I liked but the kiss, was kind of messy, didn't have any spice and really didn't have to happen. The kiss could have been saved for the squeal.
