Former AMC Co-Star Confirms Susan Lucci's Headed To Wisteria Lane (Sort Of)

We won't let ourselves really believe it until we hear it from Susan Lucci herself, but let's just say, our hopes might already be too high!

In 2008, Elizabeth Rodriguez got her start in the biz working on the longtime running and soon-to-be ending soap opera, All My Children. As the show is coming to an end (and she was just nomiated for a Tony), Elizabeth was asked to comment on the canceling of the show and what she though lied ahead for star, Susan. Let's when she let this bomb drop, saying:

"She's going to Desperate Housewives apparently. She has a contract at ABC. You heard it here first. That's what I heard!"

Actually, we've heard it before, but we haven't heard it from someone who could be called part of Susan's inner circle!

Could this really be happening? We really hope so! She'd be such a perfect fit with the bunch!

Then again, she'd fit in nicely over at Hot In Cleveland too! Just a thought!

would love to see her on Wisteria Lane! it is not as high in ratings as it used to be and bringing in La Lucci will increase the audience and add new fans to the show
maybe she could play be Teri Hatcher's big sister/aunt/cousin on the show-if Terri goes to jail -she could come to help Mike out with little MJ and who kows what she could get up to….hint hint Marc Cherry…… after all she is a natural vixen….

yay! i would love to see her on DH, she is a classic actress and would bring a great dynamic to the set. Hopefully they can give her an "edie brit" type of role, where you love to hate her…. :)

I just got the chills when i read this! I don't even watch DHWs, but I would totally watch if Susan Lucci joined the crew. Such a perfect fit for her on so many levels!! :) Now all they need to do is integrate Adam Chandler (David Canary) into the cast and I'd be on cloud 9! lol
