Hey mama! What's your hurry?!

Yesterday, a very pregnant Kate Hudson was spotted spending her Mother's Day with her son, Ryder, hurrying past photogs at LAX to catch a flight.

Um, we don't know too much about this sort of thing, but should you be flying in your condition? Doesn't there come a point when you really shouldn't be preggers and airborne?

Just thinking of you, girl!

perez, don't judge people based on things you know NOTHING about. it is perfectly safe for most women to fly right up into their final weeks of pregnancy. doctors usually recommend no flying at the end of a pregnancy simply because of the risk of going into labor while in flight. if kate and the baby are healthy, it's fine for her to be flying right now. it's not like she's 36 weeks pregnant.

Some airlines simply won't allow you to fly after a certain point in your pregnant (usually the last half of the third trimester, I believe) because of liability issues. Doctors will generally recommend the same thing because your risk of blood clots is higher when you're pregnant, and of course it's higher when you're in a seated position for a long time. They'll suggest the same thing about car trips.

You have to be less than 34 weeks I believe - she is not there yet….looking good though!

You can fly after 30 weeks with a dr.'s note.

I am SO SICK of the "huge," "ready-to-pop," "massive bump" comments in the tabloid media from men who have no idea what women's bodies do or should look like. It's only the LAST MONTH of pregnancy that airlines restrict travel and it's because of liability if a woman goes into labor during the flight (the risk of clots is remote and is throughout the pregnancy.) Being an unforgiving bitch and finding morons intolerable are conditions that also last throughout the pregnancy, but the do become a bit more acute in the last month. I should know. I'm 8 months right now.

I have no idea what the pregnancy flying rules are, but I'm 35 weeks and wouldn't fly. At this point sitting too long is just really uncomfortable! I figure she's had a kid before, and if her doctor is okay with her flying at whatever gestation she is, that's ok.

i know this isn't very nice, but i think that kid is ugly and he looks like a little brat. i've never seen a picture where he's smiling. unless his parents specifically tell him to not smile near the cameras, what is wrong with this kid??
