Kermit The Frog, Red Carpet Correspondent

Um, we don't want to come off as too excited, but lets just say whatever network hires him full-time for this gig will get our undivided attention for every major event for the rest of our lives!!!

Last weekend, the one, the only Kermit the Frog was on hand at the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides premiere interviewing celebs on the black carpet.

If we may say so, he did a lot better than most of the other correspondents in the biz today! He was charming, lovable and he even managed a costume change! That's what we want from our reporters - FLARE!

Check out the video (above) to see Kermit shine!

We think you're onto something, Muppet Studios! More! More! More!

    Never heard of him.

    Come on!

OK, sorry but have to say this. Kermit and Co. you are the charachters that should have been used on Water elephant as those elephants were totally abused and made a profit off of. How could someone in good conscious make money off a helpless creature and have their spirit broken. I will never look at Reese Witherspoon and p. Ratz the same way. Blood money!!!!!

Cute segment, but no one will ever do Kermit the Frog quite like Jim Henson. The voice is so different now, it makes me sad.

In Spanish ”Kermit The Frog” is ”La Rana Rene” and not Gustavo!

This "new" guy has been Kermit's performer since 1990, and this performer is one of the core Muppeteers and worked alongside Jim Henson, and Jim even approved of him to be his successor.
