Somewhere over the rainbow, blue birds cry...
From Drumpf meeting with the Obamas, being sworn in, his first address at POTUS, and yes, the D-list performances -- we've rounded up all the viral moments for you (below)!
That's right, CBS! ABC is now king! Or queen! Depending on which sex you attribute to TV brands!
LOLz! (We don't actually dislike CBS!)
Looks like ABC swapped places with CBS and narrowly edged out all of the major networks to be the top TV brand in the US.
ESPN also topped the cable list, after the usual group, and Discovery, Food Network, History, USA and TNT all did extremely well this time around. Some of the bottom ones were Nickelodeon, The Cartoon Network and CW. Whomp whomp!
There is an easy way to get this to be super competitive and to give everyone a shot at being top dog: quit canceling amazing shows, and make sure your original content is kickass!
We're tired of shows like Arrested Development getting the boot because a ton of advertising goes to other, less worthy shows
We DO think we're on the cusp of a TV renaissance, though, if stations like AMC keep knocking it out of the park with shows like The Killing!
But we digress… congrats ABC! Keep up the good work!
