The Voice Ratings Drop In Week 3
The Voice's ratings have dropped in week 3, for the beginning of the "battle round" episodes. Don't worry though! Even though the dip was pretty substantial, the show still easily won the night in the ratings war.
It even beat out Glee:
The Voice, which improved to 12.6 million total viewers and a 5.7 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic last week for the second part of the blind auditions, sank to 10.3 million and a 4.6 at 10 p.m. for the first of its battle rounds last night.
The Voice was down 19 percent in the key demo compared to the 9-11 p.m. telecast last week. Compared to last Tuesday’s 10 p.m. hour, the Mark Burnett-produced singing competition series dropped 22 percent. Still, The Voice easily topped the night as the highest-rated program (beating Glee) on Tuesday.
Not bad, but we gotta think that The Voice is still in its freshman year with a brand new competition, rules, and set of kinks to smooth out. There MIGHT be a fixable reason for this dip that they could immediate work out, or even work out if there's a next season!
Either way, people still obviously want to watch it, and those number aren't anything to be angry about!

How about posting Glee's numbers? Must be pretty bad seeing how far this show dropped and still beat Glee. Can't admit the show is bombing, that even it's fans have had enough? Your gay agenda has struck out again.

It probably only dropped in the ratings because it moved to it's regular slot of 10pm. I'm sure had it stayed at 8 or 9 pm it would have done more.

Its in the death slot at 10pm! I go to bed at 10pm! I got shiz to do the next day and I need my beauty sleep! Cmon NBCUniversal! Give it the slot it deserves opposite GLEE and then lets see how it does.

they need to put the show back on at 9. its not a 10pm kind of show.

i wish u posted lady gagas billboard numbers no matter what they are, too. if gaga's sales dropped, you would NEVER report on it, but you jump at any chance to report a drop in ratings for a show christina appears in…………. nevertheless, there's no doubt in my mind that the drop is attributed to it's new time, just as Re: tasha – and Re: IVIV – have said already. once the biggest loser wraps up, and it goes live at an earlier primetime slot ,i have a feeling that it will post bigger numbers than it ever has!
