Settle in folks. This case is going to take awhile.
You might've forgotten since he has so many things going on these days, but Charlie Sheen still intends to sue Warner Bros. and Two and a Half Men executive producer Chuck Lorre for $100 lawsuit. The case hasn't made any headway though, because Charlie wants the hearing to made public (for obvious reasons) while the studio (for equally obvious reasons) does not.
Yesterday, a decision could have been made on the matter, but the judge overseeing the case insisted he wanted each side to submit additional arguments. Thus, the case has been pushed back again, with a new deadline set at May 18th to submit all materials. That means we'll probably get a ruling near the end of this month.
We can't help but wonder if the judge is just humoring Charlie with all this? Let's get real - this case has no business being in a public forum. Charlie just wants as much attention as he can get. But maybe if the judge goes through the motions, it will appease Charlie enough to think he gave it his best shot.
Or it will drive him over the edge and force him to do something even more ridiculous. Either way.
