Mother Nature Presents Never-Before-Tasted Chocolate

And the world will never be the same again.

Right now, you might be nibbling on a piece of a Hershey bar or fantasizing about that last bit of Easter candy hidden in your fridge, but what if we told you that a NEW kind of chocolate has just been discovered that'll make your half-eaten hollow bunny taste like garbage in comparison?

A group of Americans living in Peru ventured to Ecuador not too long ago and were fortunate to discover a rare cacao bean, the key ingredient in making chocolate, that was thought to be lost forever. The beans are the size of footballs and are said to be "the most genetically pure expression of cacao ever found." Basically, that means that these white cacao beans have a far less bitter taste to them than the traditional purple cacao bean used to make chocolate now. Experts say that the finding of these rare beans will lead to creating the most intensely-flavored chocolate of all time - and probably the most expensive.

This…this makes our mouths water. What does the world's most intense chocolate taste like we wonder? Bliss? Heaven? Ecstasy?

Alright, how much does a bar of this shiz cost? We need to have it NOW!!!

First of all, this is old news (about 4 months old). Second, the bean was found in Peru you moron, not Ecuador. They found a few ones there but not as pure as the Peruvian beans.

i can't wait for the IMF to take over Peru, forced them to privatization of the land where the new beans are grown, to american corp to deforest and exploit - too bad.

Well, looks like the rest of the boys are gonna have to find the G Spot reliably or the species is in trouble.

Re: jonboy86 – Good British or Canadian chocolate beats Euro chocolate by a country mile; but Lindt is good, and am not knocking gourmet Euro that I probably haven't tried.

"intensely flavored" chocolate?? Yeah, that means 80% cacao, which is NASTY!!!! One taste and you'll spit it out, trust me.

Re: hb2578 – Lol lern2reed, it says it's not as bitter.

Re: hb2578 – I live for extra dark chocolate. Just yesterday, I had marzipan covered in 84% cocoa dark chocolate. Amazing. I suppose it's an acquired taste. Godiva's extra dark truffles are my favorite, at 72%. The darker it is, the healthier it is for you. I can't wait to try this new chocolate, though.

I think Hershey's chocolate is the worst candy ever!
