We around here think this movie has been perfectly casted. We're huge fans of Anton Yelchin's budding career, and Colin Farrell emits the kind of vampirism that vampires should: scary, unnerving, highly sexual, insatiable. It really is great to see a movie taking the vampire back to the original intended form!
Not only that, but as a remake it still looks solid. The original is one that can stand the test of time, though!

This remake is so good and dead-on that everyone that liked the original Fright Night, will totally have a good time with this version. Colin Farrell is so good at his role as Jerry the main vampire, he should get a SPIKE AWARD. This is how remakes should be made!…. Its worth every dime to see this flick.

I'm generally weary of a re- anything. I will admit though the casting & trailer actually have my attention. I dunno yet if i'll empty pockets to see it or not. I never do with the remakes/boots/imaginings. This doesn't sound so bad though.
I've never actually seen the original (although all the praise is pushing me towards it), but this trailer looks sufficiently good and scary. I'm looking forward to getting back to movies that don't drool over vampires.

While this looks good I am kind of disappointed that he's now living in a small suburban house rather than the opulent mansion from the first movie.
This does look good, but, it lacks the campy-ness and fun of the original.
It is just another vampire horror movie.
Colin looks sexy as hell and it is good to see him on the screen again.
Like the young actors in the movie. Good casting.
But it still lacks Roddy McDowell… and that's a minus.

This doesn't have the feel of the original. If I had seen this trailer yet didn't know the name I wouldn't have compared it to "Fright Night". Name it something else.
