For the first time in four years, Prince is heading to perform in the UK.

The singer will be headlining the Hop Farm Festival on July 3rd.

Vince Power, the festival organizer, reveals:

"I am really excited about having Prince at the Hop Farm, we have worked hard to get the third day up and running and we hope that fans will appreciate the integrity of the bill, and see it's one of the most musically exciting this year that stands head and shoulders above a lot of other festivals."

As for the other two performers headlining the event, those include the Eagles on July 1st and Morrissey on July 2nd.

Other confirmed acts for the event include Iggy and the Stooges and Death Cab for Cutie.

Amazing!

Prince is the worse. He performs random songs no one cares about from albums no one bought. EARTH TO PRINCE! WE ONLY LIKE YOUR MUSIC FROM THE 80s

Lucky U.K.! He's back, and has grown so much as a performer and a human being, and by embracing what he does best and who he is, it now has him travelling in heady company, which is exactly where he belongs. Like this line up, for instance. Yessssss. More and more friends for Prince.

(yawn!) heads up Brits - he don't swear no more. No "Erotic City". No "Head". No "Jack U Off". No "Darlking Nikki". That line that the club owner yells at him in 'Purple Rain' finally came true, his music means nothing to no one but himself now.
