Alex Didn't Mean It, El Lay! Pettyfer Says He Was "Misunderstood" When Calling Los Angeles "Socially Disgusting"
He's backtracking and rightfully so - we still maintain he isn't a big enough star to pull these kinds of antics and still have a career!
Last month, Alex Pettyfer put his gorgeous yet egotistical foot in this mouth when in his VMAN interview, he called Los Angeles "socially disgusting." He said a lot of other deplorable crap too, but considering that he wants to make it big in Hollywood, that was the part that stuck out for most people.
Well, last night at a Hugo Boss party in New York, Alex took a moment to the clear the air and clarify his comments. He explained that he really didn't believe that El Lay was a hellva rotten town, but that he was "misunderstood" by his interviewer. He explained:
"I love New York. I love L.A. too. I love both places. I don't think I was so much misquoted but misunderstood."
Uh-huh. Funny how he didn't exactly say how he was misunderstood.
Oh, and FYI: Alex also insisted that his conspicuously placed tattoo does not read "Thank You." It's actually a tattoo of his name, Alex. Wonder how that bit of information got lost in translation?
You'e still got a lot of work left ahead of you to get back into our good graces, Alex. We don't forget so easily, and neither do many other people in this town! Just saying!
