Big Love Writer Taking On New Version Of Carrie!

Maybe he can also write the new version of the Broadway musical. Ha!
Big Love writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa seems to be seriously in demand these days! First, he was brought on to re-write the script for Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, and now he'll be writing the screenplay for the new Carrie film.
Looks like the new version of Stephen King's classic story won't be so much a remake of Brian De Palma's 1976 film, but will rather be a "re-adaptation" of the novel.
We're certainly more excited about this than the musical reboot. We hope this project is treated with care though like The Rage: Carrie 2.
Are U excited for a new Carrie film? Or do U think they should leave it alone?
