Okay, so maybe this is a little bit eerie…but is it really going to stop you from reading another book by the guy who wrote Jurassic Park?!?!?
WAY back in April '09, we learned that Crichton would be releasing two books from beyond the grave.
His adventure book Pirate Latitudes was released in Sept '10, and now his next book Micro will be released in November.
The book is "a thriller about a biotech company in Hawaii and graduate students who end up stranded and endangered in a rain forest."
Author Richard Preston, known for his best-seller nonfiction book about the Ebola virus entitled The Hot Zone was brought on to complete Crichton's final novel.
Here's what Preston had to say about it:
"Michael was writing at the top of his game, with a grand sense of adventure, into an eerie world that seems almost beyond imagining. For me, it was an irresistible challenge to finish the novel, and I was driven by a desire to honor the work and imagination of one of our time's most visionary and creative authors."
All we can say is we truly hope Richard Preston does justice to Michael's work with his contribution to this novel.
Will U read Michael Crichton's new book? Do U think Richard Preston will do a good job completing Crichton's final work?
