And it should be a really interesting read, too!
He hasn't had a book out in over 8 years, and he just announce his new one — Here Comes Trouble: Stories From My Life — which he claims is kind of an anti-memoir, and revolves around things happening to the filmmaker before Roger & Me.
Michael Moore is a pretty polarizing guy, and his stories really do seem to reflect that. He was at Book Expo America when he announced the book, and read some excerpts — one of which recounts him being asked about people wanting him dead during a live, national, broadcast.
Shortly after he announced it at the festival, he tweeted:
"The cat is out of the bag! I'm at the annual Book Expo in NYC & have just unveiled the project I've been working on for the past year…"
"My first hardcover book in 8 years: 'HERE COMES TROUBLE: Stories from My Life' to be released Sept. 13. U will be surprised."
It'll be a collection of about two dozen stories.
We'll be looking forward to hearing more about it, Michael! Feel free to send us a copy if you want it proofread! Ha!
Will U be reading it? Even if U don't agree with it, curiosity is a powerful thing!
