    lame, lame, lame, lame..
and this woman looks 25 years older than she actually is.
Why is it that most horror movies today are remakes? Why can't American movie companies buy asian horror movie rights, have them dubbed and put them in theatres? Or can't someone come up with a good ORIGINAL idea?
On a funny side: You want to see something scary? Come and check my dirty refrigerator.. haven't cleaned it in 12 months, there's a milk carton that says "EXP. 06/11". Sci-Fi channel is in contact with me because they want to buy the rights to film what's going on in there.
Have a nice day Perez, XXX

I love scary movies, and this one looks very interesting.

Re: oakieboy – The Queen of all Media can not be bothered to fact-check her posts. The "poor thing" is wondering why even her hair plugs are rejecting her.

She cannot act! She is only getting parts because of who she is married to, and he can't act, either!

  6. 6

She may never put Joey from "Dawson's Creek" behind her.
At least Michelle Williams has spread her wings and shown that she is an engaging and capable actress.
    What's taking Katie so long?

  7. 7

No one has to go see the movies; with that trailer we've already seen enough…..

  8. 8

I might have watched this movie if Katie Holmes wasn't in it

Why can't Katie get a regular job, like being a cashier at Safeway or maybe being an assistant manager at a local movie theater?

That kid cries in every movie or series she's in, except the Jennifer Aniston one.

    amityville horror house anyone?

  12. 12

Go see the movie? You mean there's more? I walked out watching the 3 minute trailer….

  13. 13

It's pretty bad when people walk out on your Movie Trailer……

Did you see how dirty & messy the haunted house was? All the SCREAM were not from seeing ghosts, but from Katie having to dust, mop & vacuum the place; you know she's never done those things in her REAL life!

Geared to a younger audience, maybe. I always get the 'yeah, right' thing in most horror movies. Now, life is stranger than fiction psychological thrillers, that's quite another thing.

Not directed by Del Toro….presented by and co-wrote it (I think…not watching the trailer again). Love Guy Pearce. I'd see anything he's in. And love Del Toro so I'd give it a go.

Just the thought of her husband and the fact that she has a child is scary enough.

Guillermo del Toro was the writer, not the director. I doubt he knew when he was writing the screenplay that Katie Holmes would be cast as the main character. He probably didn't want to taint his directorial work with her name.
