Adele Postpones Five Concert Dates Due To Illness
Oh no! Poor thing!
Adele has been forced to postpone five dates on her current concert tour in North America, because she's been diagnosed with laryngitis!
According to a statement on the singer's website:
Adele has been forced to postpone 5 dates on her current sold-out tour of North America due to laryngitis, she was diagnosed last Thursday in Minneapolis, MN, where doctors ordered immediate rest and postponement of that nights engagement at First Avenue (rescheduled for June 22nd). Adele performed on Saturday evening in Denver, CO (Ogden Theater) which proved too early a return to the stage. Adele’s show last Sunday evening in Salt Lake City, UT (The Depot) was postponed last minute when her illness worsened. Adele has also been forced to postpone shows in Vancouver, BC (Orpheum Theatre) on May 31, Seattle, WA (Paramount Theatre) on June 1 and Portland, OR (Crystal Ballroom) on June 3.
The tour will resume on June 4 (Greek Theatre Berkeley) in San Francisco, CA.
Keep an eye out for news of rescheduled shows. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Such a shame! But obviously, there's nothing she can do at this point but rest and take care of herself while she recovers!
Thankfully - at least for us, LOLz - the El Lay show is still happening!

Poor Adele. I'd almost feel bad for her… except get this, the night before she canceled her Minneapolis show she was out getting wasted with her tour manager (who is actually from Minneapolis). She wasn't sick the night of the Minneapolis show, she was hungover (and she even had the nerve to call her tour manager a "lightweight" - ha! at least he could perform his job the next day). I don't know shy she has since canceled 5 shows altogether - maybe to make her "illness" look more legitimate or maybe she was on a truly insane bender. Either way this "goddess" is a joke. Fans paid good money to see her and she would rather party like a trashy starlet.
She has laryngitis because she sings incorrectly and puts strain on her throat and vocal chords AND she smokes! She doesn't take that great of care of herself….
She was sick when she did DWTS Finale. But, she sounded really good. Great singer. I so wanted to hear her belt out Natural Woman. Take care Adele. Wish she was coming near me.
