Lady GaGa Impostor Disappoints Elementary School Kids

| Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueLady GaGa

Lady GaGa wasn't me

Talk about a bummer!

We can only imagine their heartbreak when students at Maugham Elementary in New Jersey found out that the Lady GaGa they thought they had met on Wednesday was an impostor!

A popular teacher at school promised students a "big surprise" after taking the NJ ASK, a state-wide assessment test, but instead they got a big disappointment!

After they had taken the test, the teacher informed students she KNEW Lady GaGa before she was famous, while interning at MTV together and that she had arranged for the students to meet her over Skype!

Unfortunately, the woman dressed as GaGa, who didn't speak on video, but only typed (due to a microphone "malfunction"), was not GaGa at all!

According to a letter from the school district notifying parents and students of the mistake, their famous speaker had to back out of the commitment just hours before she was scheduled to appear, so the teacher "made arrangements" for an impersonator to take her place.

According to our sources, she WAS NOT scheduled to appear and the teacher IS NOT friends with Lady GaGa, before or after she was famous.

While incentives may be a great way to improve student test scores, the school should not be promising incentives they can't make happen!

Students are feeling the burn too, as one fourth-grade student explained:

“I would be disappointed if we didn’t get to meet her and she just told us, but now I feel betrayed and just three times worse.”

So sorry, guys!

Although no mention of what kind of punishment, if any, the fibbing teacher will receive, the school district is not happy with the stunt and wrote:

"Please understand that we are taking this event very seriously and appropriate action is being taken…It is with deep sadness that one of our staff members violated this critical ethical standard."

We're sure this teacher's heart was in the right place, but instead she betrayed the trust of her students and unnecessarily broke the little monster's hearts!

Do U think the teacher should be punished for hiring an impersonator to pose as Lady GaGa for elementary school students?

    Hilarious…

    HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  3. 3

What elementary school would allow Gaga to address their students? That skanky ho has no business being around children. Hopefully the imposter didn't try to hump anything.

  4. 4

I dont think she should get in trouble even though it was kinda messed up

  5. 5

Aw, that teacher sucks. Lol, but i bet the gaga haters are still gonna comment on this because they're so pathetic.

  6. 6

The teacher should be punished for even MENTIONING GaGa to FOURTH graders. How inappropriate: a woman who dresses in revealing clothing and makes videos of "birthing" objects does not belong talking to young, impressionable kids. End of story.

gaga is an imposter herself. a fraud a fake so who cares .shes a thief

  8. 8

It was Stillman school, not Maugham school - my brother was in that class.

  9. 9

Yes, the teacher must be punished. Students should be allowed to bully her and chant retard at her. Plus, maybe she should be forced to listen to Judas on auto-repeat, although that's cruel and unusual punishment.

  10. 10

Either way they were going to get an impostor.

  11. 11

maybe the whole stunt is a hoax so lady gaga will feel sorry for the kids and visit them. that's probably all planned by the school administration.

  12. 12

Oh brother…….here comes yet another pubicity stunt, I predict GaGa will make an "impromtu" appearance under the guise of not wanting to disappoint the children, predictable. We'll hear about it for days on this site……"GAGA LIFTS CHILDRENS HOPES AND DREAMS AFTER IMPOSTER DISAPPOINTED!". Im sure she'll have a special seminar and class for the bullied kids….cue the fats, gays, weird, and band kids - which I was all of the above, lol. The publicity and marketing wheels are a turning on this one!

Re: CaliCoyote – why is she a skanky ho motherfucker? she fights for equal civil rights and equality. she's everything but a ho. and you're a short sighted moron who should step back from the wall your fucking face is attached to in order to see the big picture around Lady Gaga, fucking moron!

  14. 14

Nobody would have been the wiser if the impostor had only lip-synched her way through a few of Lady G's typical (and pre-recorded) comments.

  15. 15

The Satanic Ga Ga brand or copies of it should be no where near elementary schools.

  16. 16

Aww. I feel bad for those kids. Maybe the real Lady Gaga will read this and find some time in her schedule to go to that school and meet them all. That would be so epic if it happened. :D

  17. 17

LOL first of why would teachers want lady gaga to visit? a elementry school? she no good rolemodel she a skank and dresses in revealing clothing and makes sex up music videos.

Re: GayRay – actually it's everything but, and if she did take the time out of her ridiculous schedule to do something for these kids she's more wonderful than I could imagine. I nanny a kid that is in the 5th grade at the Maugham school and meeting Lady Gaga as a reward was all he could talk about for over a week. He loves everything she represents and looks up to her- all opinions on that matter alone irrelevant at this juncture. It is deplorable what that teacher did to these kids. He called her a coward and he's absolutely correct. She not only should have stopped it before it went to far but she should have been the ones to tell the children she lied. It's a horrible thing that occurred and anything but a publicity stunt. Real children with real feelings are involved. Imagine if you had a chance to meet your idol when you were 10 and 11 and it was all a lie. These things matter. Kids matter.

Re: Melody8 – It was Maugham, Stillman, Smith and Mackay- the four elementary schools in the Tenafly district. They all hired the same professional developer to assist in the NJ Ask and she promised the same reward to those four schools. I am sorry it happened to your brother as well.

  20. 20

Oh wow. I don't feel that LG is an appropriate guest for elementary school students, and the same would go for any LG impostor.

  21. 21

    Teachers need ethics training.

  22. 22

the kids were further disappointed when it was also announced that the real Perez Hilton did show up at the school and ate all the paste from their art class. …

  23. 23

Re: lefox555 – Don't get so damn fixated on this marketing publicity stunt my dear. If you're a nanny to a child I suggest you look to REAL and RESPONSIBLE role models for that child, starting with his/her parents. If Lady GaGa or any other "pop"stars are going to be that childs role model, you have an hell of alot of work ahead of you. Working on your grammar certainly would be a plus. Do not underestimate what goes on in the so called celebrity world and I would suggest you steer that boy in a more intrinsic, positive direction in regard to education, the ARTS, and culture…….not Lady Gaga. Do not lay your ridiculous music habits on that poor child because GaGa is not the way to pull forward. I'm ashamed of you darling………think twice and do not bastardize a childs growth with GaGa. If that child is anything the way I was, inundate him with Mozart, Yves Saint Laurent, Madonna, Oprah, Meisel, Warhol, Tom Waites, Sade, etc. I'm sorry to say, but not GaGa……really.

Re: GayRay – lmao exactly. would you be surprised? I wouldn't.

  25. 25

The teacher is a "Judas." Weird story.

  26. 26

Lady GaGa is not an age-appropriate presenter for any elementary school or middle school. How totally inappropriate. The Administrator that approved that "guest speaker" is the one who should be immediately dismissed. The teacher sounds like a dipstick as well. THIS is what's wrong with education. Dumb people with dumb ideas in charge of our children. School is no longer a serious learning environment but rather a place for silliness and drivel like this to take place. So sad.

    RFLMAO

  28. 28

    Poor kids.
Re: I Know Everything Bitch – Hey, if you knew everything you would know sex sells. GaGa is a great role model because she stands for equality. Sure many people do that but not the way she does it, she can dress however she wants and she encourages her fans/people to dress how ever they want and to no caring what anyone else thinks. That's a good thing, so don't you worry how she dress because it's frankly none of your business.
Besides, almost everyone uses sex today in their video to sell. Some 'artist' just sings about sex but in other words. Like Britney, most of her songs are about sex, some of her videos to.
