Octo-Doctor Getting His Medical License Revoked!

octodoctor gets license revoked

Uh oh…this isn't going to be the inciting incident that turns Doc Ock into a super-villain, is it? Cough…Spider-Man 2…Cough!

Yesterday, the Beverly Hills fertility doctor who helped Octo-Mom Nadya Suleman to conceive her octuplets was told that his medical license will be revoked next month.

The Medical Board of California accused Dr. Michael Kamrava of not exercising "sound judgment" by transferring 12 embryos to Nadya. He was also accused by the Attorney General's office of being "grossly negligent" with how he treated Octo-Mom and two other female patients.

Here's what the Medical Board of CA had to say about their decision:

“Public protection is paramount. The board is not assured that oversight through probation is enough, and having weighed the above, has determined that revocation of respondent’s certificate is necessary to protect the public.”

What do U think? Should the Octo-Doctor get his medical license revoked?

It was about time, it doesn't matter what that crazy woman wanted , the doctor should have known better.

I think that's wonderful news! He obviously doesn't have good judgement and isn't thinking about the children that are being born. They were not born to a good environment. Who can really take care of eight newborns and give them each the attention they deserve?

He deserves for his license to get revoked!! Putting a whopping 12 embryos in a mother who already had 6 small kids at home (that you implanted as well) is outrageous and grounds for malpractice. A good doctor should know better and use better judgement regarding situations like this.

In my opinion the state of CA should force him to help with the financial cost of supporting these kids til age 18. Thats the real pay back to society and CA for what he has done. Maybe other DR's will learn not to do this because I'm sure he isn't the first fertility Dr to shove 12 enbryos into a desperate females trying to conceive.

No, I don't. I think he should be allowed to practice under conditions that strictly outline their expected ethical considerations of egg implantation. Then along with still working to support himself, he should be further required to financially contribute to the support of the mess he made creating Octomom's absurd number of multiple babies. It would be a better win/win. Why do people in charge throw the baby out with the bathwater? This isn't a good outcome for any of them, and is NOT constructive.
