So terrible!

Country star and winner of Celebrity Apprentice Trace Adkins lost his Brentwood home in a brutal fire on Saturday. According to fire officials, the house was a "total loss."

Trace's wife Rhonda was out running errands while their three daughters and dog were home with their nanny. Thankfully, all of them escaped the fire unharmed.

Trace was on his way to Alaska for a concert and didn't learn of the tragic event until hours later.

All of his gold albums and other country music awards and memorabilia were stored in the basement of the house and were not touched by the fire. They did, however, have some water damage.

When asked about the loss of the home, Rhonda replied, "It's just stuff."

So true. And what a positive outlook to have on the whole situation. We're just so happy that nobody was harmed in the fire.

    he didn't win celebrity apprentice…

  2. 2

    he LOST the celebrity apprentice

  3. 3

that's a good way to sell your house in today's market–burn it down. now lets see if he rebuilds the same size house.

At least his family is safe. Given all they lost, the wife has a great attitude.

  5. 5

john rich won celebrity apprentice, not trace adkins….

I'm so over Perez stealing stories and not researching them.

  7. 7

You're a lazy, incompetent lame-ass who is too useless to even research your facts. Adkins was runner-up to your buddy Piers Morgan. And this story is so old, and much better covered on other sites. Shut this site down, it's so obvious you don't really give a phuck and have zero influence in the industry.

he looks much older and chubbier in this picture than he did on celebrity apprentice, and last season he was runner up to Piers Morgan

Re: Hairplugs for Hilton – you are so right..tho i think trace should have won…perez just seems to post anything…

Re: Hairplugs for Hilton – You are a needless bully that needs to get off this site….You crucify Perez and much of what he likes….even Gaga….So, why do you care….?this meant to be light-hearted info on celebs….you have such anger….you need to take that anger and get happy…why are you so miserable you have to take your anger out on someone else? Seriously, stop the negativity and targeting others….sad.

In this economy…it is hard to trust what ANYONE in H-wood says about ANYTHING thus I suspect…it was deliberately set for insurance money…sorry just sayin'…

  13. 13

He probably did it for the insurance money.

Re: crm12608 – John Rich won this year. Trace was on a previous season.

First of all, do you do that on purpose? That is the worst picture I have ever seen of him. He's 6'8 and fit and yet he looks like a short ass shlub in this picture. You do it to damn near everyone, even your precious Gaga. It'd be a lot nicer if you'd pick decent pictures of people you talk about. And the man has hit after hit (so he doesn't NEED to fake it for insurance).

Why in God's name did you write "Country Star Trace Adkins?" That's like putting "Singer Madonna" or "Actor Tom Hanks." I mean, although he's not as famous as the 2 folks I just mentioned, he's still VERY recognizable. You wrote that is if we didn't know who the fuck he was. I don't listen to country music, but I know who he is. It's common knowledge, at least here in the South. Even the people that don't know him from the Country world know him from The Celebrity Apprentice, as well as pop culture in general. I swear, whoever's been writing for you the past year or so is just ass-backwards on some things.

Re: VicktheChick33 – So if you were in the room with me and my purse went missing, I could say that you stole it?? Even though I don't know your character, none the less who you even are?? Yeah, that's what I thought, jackass. That's the most pessimistic statement that i've ever heard in my life!! "Uh, well, the economy's bad, so I think he burnt it down." Bull freakin shit!!! I don't care who you say that about- that's just wrong, and hateful. Like JennFrost said, that guy's got a lot of money, as well as a bunch of hits. He doesn't need to "burn his house down." I'm not saying this to be a prick, but if you genuinely think like that in real life, meaning that is your actual mindset, you need to see a psychiatrist. Seriously. I don't know your age, your race, your income, or even how old you are. But if you really think in that sort of manner, you need to seek help as soon as possible.
