Ah, Memories! Harry Potter Gang's First Screen Test Together

| Filed under: Daniel RadcliffeHarry PotterEmma WatsonRupert Grint

So adorable!

We're going to get so nostalgic and weepy watching this!

In honor of the final Harry Potter film's release in July, check out this screen test from Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone way back in 2001, featuring an EXTREMELY young Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint playing the title character, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley for the FIRST time (above)!

THEY'RE SO LITTLE!!! Awwww!

Gah! Seeing all of this footage from the past films is too much!

We don't want to have to say goodbye!

Check it out…. after the jump!

What will I do when this ends?! I've grown up with it and can't imagine it being all over.

agreed curlgurl. This has been my life for sooooo long!!!

I remember Harry Potter's first debut so clearly when I was in grade five. Never imagined it would become what it has today. Even though I was never a devout reader, I can honestly say that Harry Potter has exceeded ALL limits of movie sequels and novels.

    oh my gosh! shiver

It's going to be so rough when the last movie is out and the Harry Potter conferences come to an end and my childhood officially comes to a close. But the books will never disappear and I fully intend on raising my own children surrounded by all things Potter.

It's amazing how much they've grown as actors. I am going to miss Harry Potter so much! I'm on the fence about JK Rowling making another Harry Potter book. Pros: More Harry Potter, we get to see what she does with our characters when they grow up, the chance for another movie (very very slight chance), and yet another awesome read. Cons: She's said she doesn't want to do another one, so therefore if does do one now, it will probably be written half-assed, if she waits, then we have to wait. The actors don't want to do another Harry Potter movie ever, or it would probably be a prequel like Beetle the Bard. Do you guys agree? Either way, I'm going to miss HP so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think about what has happened in my life over the last ten years, and the Potter films have always been there. Traditions for my friends and I…and this is the last time we will stand in line at the theater…the last time we will all share this together. This brings up so many real emotions…I'm happy and sad.

Re: Katiedora – Oh my gosh I feel the same way! I always say that if I have children and they aren't as into Harry Potter as I am, then I will disown them lol. This has been my childhood for as long as I can remember, and I nearly had a nervous breakdown at the end of the first half of Deathly Hallows…I don't even want to imagine how depressed I will be when it's completely over. I feel like a part of myself is dying just a bit with the end of the series…as dramatic as that sounds.

Re: eyeh8twilight – I definitely don't mind if she writes the encyclopedia that she has talked about before…the one that updates us on all of the characters and where they are now. But I don't think there should be any more movies if she does end up creating the book. This last movie will be the perfect ending to the whole series, so they just need to let it go.

Man!that trailer gave me chills.but there was one part that still bugs me.it was the part where Bonnie kisses Daniel.I wish she didn't,because she should know that he's MY BOYFRIEND!not hers.and if I was in the movie, there would be a cat fight between us.and I would win.So I blame the director for putting that lame scene in the movie!

Re: curlgurl – I fell in love with the "Harry Potter" franchise from the beginning, I'm going to be sad but every great thing must come to an end
