Willie Nelson Strikes A Deal In Marijuana Case

$500 fine and no hard time! Sounds about right to us!

Last year, Willie Nelson was charged with marijuana possession when the cops found weed on his tour bus at a border checkpoint. Today, he struck a deal with prosecutors in which he agreed to plead no contest in exchange for reducing the charge. Now, he's been ordered to pay a $500 fine and he won't go to jail. Furthermore, if he behaves himself for the next month, the judge will dismiss the case entirely.

Hear that, Willie! Keep your nose clean and we can forgot this whole mess! Let's see if you can do it!

Why waste tax payers money on prosecuting pot smokers. Legalize it pay off debt or put the money to good use on education and prevention programs for HIV and save lives.

Leave Willie alone y'all. Stupid that pot is not legal.

At his age Willie could probably qualify for medical marijuana for one thing or another.

Just leave the poor guy alone. He has smoked pot for more years than you could imagine. The cop(s) who busted him for this are idiots. Walk away and forget about it. He has never done anything to hurt anyone. He does it iin the privacy of his own property and pays his taxes. Leave him alone. Pot should be legalized anyways. Go Willie go……………

Keep your nose clean? What? You SMOKE marijuana, not snort it.

What's the matter with a bit of weed?

Jesus said to do unto others as we would have them to do unto us. None of us would want our child thrown in jail with the sexual predators over marijuana. None of us would want to see an older family member’s home confiscated and sold by the police for growing a couple of marijuana plants for their aches and pains. It’s time to stop putting our own family members in jail over marijuana.
Next step: How about $100 for a permit to grow a dozen plants? We can use the money for our schools, and it will put the drug gangs out of business for good!
