Yeah, we know it's a reality show and it's supposed to be played like "a game," but we still feel bad for this girl.
This season, The Bachelorette has come forward after Monday night's rather embarrassing episode in which the majority of her suitors embarrassed her in public and the guy she thought was Mr. Right turn out to be Mr. Heartbreaker!
Fans of the show watched as Ashley Hebert was "humiliated" by some of her potential lovers at a comedy club on Monday, as well as Ashley's top guy, Bentley Williams, share his real feelings about the girl he claimed to have such strong feelings for to her face. Off camera, he complained that Emily Maynard, Ashley's former fellow contestant on The Bachelor, should've been the Bachelorette since she's more "breathtakingly beautiful" than Ashely. He then confessed that he didn't have any true feelings for "ugly duckling", adding, "I don't care about Ashley at all."
At the time of shooting, Ashley had no idea Bentley felt this way. Now, having seen the footage herself, she confesses she felt "played." She explains:
"I'm extremely humiliated. He had intentions to really hurt me – and he did .. I got played just as maybe every woman in America has been played."
Poor thing! She just wanted to find love! Was that so much to ask?! How could these guys agree to be on a reality TV show meant to find this girl a soulmate just for some publicity?! Is fame more important than love, even 15 minutes of it? For shame!
Hopefully, there is someone left in the bunch who is worth her heart! Then again, you can always come back next season and try again Ash! How does that sound???
