Zach Galifianakis is HIGHlarious, there are no qualms about that from anyone.
What makes him interesting though, is that he's completely reluctant to accept his own fame but manages to balance the idea of it with getting to do what he loves. And that's why Rolling Stone interviewed him.
Embedded in the interview, though, happens to also be some possible Hangover III plot details!
"They want to do a Hangover III," he says. "I'm getting fricking phone calls already." According to what he's heard, the plot ditches the format of the first two and focuses on his character escaping from a mental institution with help from the wolf pack.
We're glad they're straying from the formula, and it would be amazing if they went this idea! Couple it with what the screenwriter said he wanted to do with the ending:
"I think the third movie ends with Doug staring at a row of crosses in a graveyard. It’s everyone – his wife, his family is dead, everybody from the first movie is dead. Somebody shows up and tells him his dog is dead."
… and we think you've got yourself a darker, edgier, and probably funnier final film for the trilogy!
Let's hope these ideas come to fruition, or something like them, and that they stay away from the original formula!
How do U feel about that plot??
