We haven't heard much about the littlest JoBro these days. We know Joe Jonas has a new single out and Kevin is, um, still married we guess, but no word from Nick Jonas in awhile. We thought maybe he was working on another album with Nick Jonas & the Administration or perhaps looking for another musical to star in (oh wait, he has!), but actually, what Nick has really been up to is… producing!
Yes, the littlest Bro has developed a fancy for music production, already co-writing and producing a new song for Charice called One Day and getting involved with other artists like Babyface, Lee DeWyze, Greyson Chance and Cody Simpson. Of his new found passion, Nick says:
"Back in December, I started writing and producing for other people. That's been my focus this year … It's been an opportunity to be just as productive as I am with my brothers. I hope that I can have a voice with my brothers, on my own and through other people."
Sounds like a plan. Growing as a artist is important and seeing what else you're good at is equally as. But hey, do you want to be one of these "other people" Nick is talking about? In other words, would you like to work with Nick on a song of your very own. You're in luck since one of Nick's other projects is an online talent search with Quaker Chewy Granola Bars for singers ages 8 to 14. A mobile studio will visit eight cities to help contestants record their performances and the winner will have song produced by Nick, a contract with Jonas Group Management and $5,000!
Pretty sweet! We're happy to hear he's doing so well for himself!
