Shia Says He's "Done" With The Transformers Franchise

For now. Hey, we all know how persuasive money can be!

With the third Transformers only weeks away from release, Shia LaBeouf is already working the media trail to promote the flick. However, it turns out that this might the last time Shia has to answer questions about Optimus Prime as he confirmed he has no plans to make another Transformers flick.

During a recent interview, Shia revealed that he was done with the franchise "for sure" and added that he didn't think he was the only one. He explained:

"I'm not coming back to do another one. I don't think Mike [Bay] will either…It is still a hot property I think, especially coming out of the third one," the actor continued. "So I imagine they'll reboot it at some point with someone else."

That's true. Tobey Maguire was only halfway out of his spandex leggings before the studio snagged Andrew Garfield. There's always someone waiting in the wings for their shot, you know?

But we can't say we didn't see this coming. He's got so many other projects lined-up and beside, he stuck it out for a complete trilogy. That's enough.

So, who do we want to replace him with in movie #4? Do U have any suggestions???

Quick, someone throw a cup of coffee on this jerk. I will never forget him throwing coffee on the poor pap.

I will never forget the feeling I had when I watched that first scene where the helicopter changed into a robot in the original movie. It was very unexpected and I blown away by the effects and the musical score. I have no idea what caused me to have that reaction to this movie, but I could watch it 1000 times and never get bored.

I think they should reboot and go back to the G1 (1980s) designs. At least for characters like Optimus and Megatron. They can give them new forms to transform into (ie: Megatron should be a tank; not a handgun). The G1 designs are the most iconic, and it's a look fanboys want to see the most. Alos, they have had the g1 cartoon voice actor for Optimus for all the movie… they should have Megatron's original voice actor return for the part. He already voiced Soundwave in part 2, so no reason he couldn't voice Megatron too!

    Whatever, he's hot.

it's better for him to leave with a little bit of dignity than to have something like T2 happen again and he gets booed out of the franchise. I'm excited to see him in more roles like the one from his upcoming movie The Wettest County in the World. I'm hoping with more serious roles like that he'll be able to showcase his true talents. and good looks ;D
