box-office-super-8-set-35m-weekend

Boom, da boom boom, boom da boom boom, boom they love that Super 8!

LOLz! Sorry, every time we hear the name of that movie, we think of Her Minajesty's HAWT track!

But we digress.

The J.J. Abrams directed sci-fi flick, which was also produced by Steven Spielberg, reportedly grossed an estimated $12.1 million at the Friday box office, and is predicted to surpass $35 million for the entire weekend, including Thursday preview screenings!

That's pretty impressive, especially considering no one knew what the eff it was about, and still went anyway!

Guess J.J. has still got it!

Well done, sir!

'Makes Banks, what a cool saying bitch. Why do you report day old news when the actually figures for the full weekend where released hours ago. I was not aware that JJ almost lost it. Your comments are so stupid. Just post the Hollywood news and stop trying to be witty.

maybe people went because they didn't know everything about it.

It really wasn't as good as I thought.

There was no relationship with the monster yet at the end they try to make it more meaningful than it can be…..Could have been done better.

i thought it was amazing. I cried twice, jumped a couple times and laughed at the kids, they were great. the relationship with the monster was enough. it wasn't really about that anyways.
