Spider-Man Swings Into The Tonys!

Actually, he didn't - and we think it was better off that way.

Last night, Reeve Carney & Jennifer Damiano of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark peformed at the Tony Awards. They left the theatrics at home, opting to perform the ballad, If The World Should End, rather than risk attempting to perform any Spidey-stunts.

The number was pretty, but nothing more than that. We're still expecting so much more out of this production. Let's see if we get it!

Till then, check out their duet in the video (above)! Thoughts???

i saw the play friday night with my boyfriend and honestly the best part was when the flying started and the green goblin.the first half sucked massive ass! it was slow and very very boring. the songs were so horrible, there was not one high note in the whole entire play. and they sounded like something U2 would record. we were very dissapointed,we expected so much more and were left hanging! perez if you were looking foward to seeing this im telling you DON'T! it was a waste of money

glad they didnt risk the neck of another actor and went with a ballad. but good lord this bored me to TEARS. end this show already.

i saw this performance at the tony's last night. it was the MOST BORING PART of the show. honestly, they should just give up instead of drowning themselves into debt. i'm not going to criticize the actors too much cause maybe they were nervous that they would be performing at the tony's, but seriously?! i don't think their lackluster voices will take that show anywhere.

The show is a lot better since they changed it around, but its nothing more than subpar Cirque de Soleil special effects and a more understandable plot. The music is mediocre, at best. Believe it or not, the song at the Tony's was the best song in the score. So stock up on Red Bull when you chuck out the $150 a ticket, or just go to Anything Goes.
