Are you effing serious?! Is this woman married?? If not, then why the hell should be held to the same standard as a politician? She wasn't the one who lied to the country and she certainly didn't engage in infidelity. And why is it that you and all the liberals have to continually drag Christianity into everything? Did you know that 70% of this country identifies themselves as being Christian? Ugh, you're so infuriating sometimes.

  2. 2

Come on, I understand that it's wrong, in your opinion and my own, that some of the Christian community believe homosexuality is a sin but don't knock the YWCO if it happens that they forgive a young woman for sexual interaction with Rep. Weiner. I would say that's progress.

  3. 3

So this girl is not a celebrity. Not in the public eye. didnt do anything in person, just electronically. You have no real proof even of that. And your trying your best to cause her to be fired. But your not a bully Right!!!
Oh damn I must be homophobic

let me get this straight in your prospective perez….

a single well over 18 woman can not do anything online like sexual pictures or receive sexual pictures?…

SHEs SINGLE not married… being christian myself ( im for gay rights as well).. not all christians are against it).. i don't see why there would be anything against her at all when she didn't do anything physically with him just internet wise..

i would be fine with letting my daughter (if i had one.. only have a son) take a class with her she did nothing wrong but have a personal life that got blown up because some disgusting politician … everyone has a right to their personal life. no one should be fired when their the victim.. she may not of even known he was married. christianity has nothing to do with this really since she's not married herself and didn't have sex with him. everybody sins and there is nothing in the commandments about internet sex lol internet was not around

  6. 6

Homosexuality is a sin, it says so in the bible. And The congressman did nothing wrong

  7. REPUB says – reply to this

    7

Homosexuality is a SIN according to the Bible, but being a sexy yet trampy SINGLE woman isnt get over yourself you fat effing turd

  8. 8

Thats odd that perez hates christianity. I guess equality for all means equality for the gay community and fuck the christians. You are a fucking idiot.

  9. 9

Fat boy will now hound this poor woman every day for eternity. FatBot you are a Vile excuse of a human being.

  10. 10

Your distortion of the facts on this "story" doesnt help your agenda.

I made an account as your ‘posse’ just so I can leave this message.

Perez, your website has such a huge following, and though your blog can be funny and sometime unnecessarily enlightening, your posts can sometimes be incredibly hypocritical.

You preach about acceptance and how not to judge others. Yet, you judge a whole group of people (Christians) a lot.

I was raised roman catholic, and I believe in a God that loves everyone, and accepts everyone, and forgives everyone. I also full heartedly respect and support the gay community.

So yes, you’re right; some within the Christian community can be complete morons, BUT some people in the Christian community are great, loving individuals.

It is not just people within the Christian community that are prejudice, it is people everywhere; all races, all religions. So please stop judging a whole group of people based on the actions and words of only a few.

I always appreciate your posts on acceptance, but you need to start leading by example.

  12. 12

This is just bringing the church more publicity which they love. They're letting her keep her job, so she can later have a platform announcing how her fellow Christians forgave her..yadda, yadda!!

    Stop giving these people stories!

  14. 14

Way to stereotype Perez. One Christian group's actions does not convey the thoughts or actions of every Christian. Just like one gay guy spewing hate does not make me think that all gays are hateful people. Her job is the same as anybody else's. She did not do (according to public knowledge) the alleged flirting on company time, therefore why does it matter to her employer. She also did not engage in physical activity with the guy. So why should she be fired?

  15. 15

Re: quinnsie – exactly! Very well said.

  16. 16

Might you present just one story during the day that does not involve sexuality? Jesus, Perez,it's like you want to be defined by this one part of your life. It's pretty pathetic.

  17. 17

Okay, so both homosexuality and infidelity are sins. Neither is worse or better than the other. Both sins are forgivable, as are all other sins no matter how big or small. If I use the Lords name in vain, I am equally guilty. It doesn't matter if it is a homosexual male/female or this Christian cheerleading coach, both people can be forgiven as long as they admit they have sinned and ask for forgiveness. It's when you continually commit the sin, and do not ask for forgiveness because you do not believe you are sinning that it becomes an issue. At any moment, that person could admit they have done wrong and be forgiven, but it's actually admitting your life style is sinful that matters.

I have sinned, I sin daily actually. That's human nature, and no one can say they are perfect. If you even look at another man/woman when you are married with lust in your heart, you have committed adultery. It is only by the grace of God and his son Jesus dying on the cross for us that we can be saved. The key piece here though is humbling yourself to admit you have done wrong and ask God to forgive you. No church or religious organization can do that for you, so saying the Christian community is quick to forgive this woman really has no value. You have to be the one to ask God personally to forgive your sins…and be sincere about it! God knows what is in your heart.

  18. 18

She's a single woman who probably accepted these texts because she was getting a thrill out of them. I mean seriously, why should she be fired for this? It's wrong but she also did it privately, it just ended up into a media shit storm.

  19. 19

Its incredible to me how you can take something that doesn't even remotely concern homosexuality and twist it to make it all about the gays. As a gay man myself, I am embarrassed for you, Mario.

  20. 20

i just know that if this were a gay man in the same position as this woman you would cry out injustice if the organization even hinted at firing him. You sure like to pick your battles.

  21. 21

What a pretty girl she is. She reminds me of a young Bo Derek.

  22. 22

yeah those evil christians. keep hating bro

  23. 23

I am pretty damn sure you were raised in a Catholic home and probably still pray when you need your ass saved yet yo you obviously partake in idol chatter and other sins (no I don't think being gay is a sin) yet your still do what you do. Not all, not even most Christians hate gays or even think it is a sin. You are putting blame on a lot of people who don't deserve it. I challenge you to research your misbegotten beliefs about Christians and certain sins. I think you would find it really eye opening. We aren't all close minded, in fact a vast majority of us are a lot more flexible in our beliefs and just because there is a doctrine in our churches beliefs we don't necessarily have to agree with it, we proudly don't in some cases. We are loving people for the most part. Aside from a few miss educated people. Don't blame the whole group for a few peoples misbehavior. Your article earlier today suggested that some churches were apologizing for the past. I will have you know that the Episcopal and Methodist churches have long had gay priests, deacons and bishops. A family member who is an priest even performs gay marriages in his church and recently married a couple who had been together for 48 years. There is a gay assistant rector and a gay organist. You are dead wrong in the way you view Christians, and really need to find out about the actual Christians and not just the church. We are loving, peaceful and accepting of about everyone. Even someone like you.

  24. 24

Get off your high horse gay boy.

  25. 25

I don't appreciate the way this post is written. You don't want the gay community to be attacked, then don't attack the Christian community! I'm a Christian and I have no problem with gays, gay marriage, etc. The young woman in this post didn't do anything wrong. She's not the married politician. Leave her alone- stop using random people to push gay rights. I am all for gay rights- not for dragging innocent people through the mud to prove a point.

  26. 26

"Christianity" is bullshit. Especially when it comes to CHEERLEADING. HELL-OOOOOOO!!!!

  27. 27

Who the hell could carry on a "sexual email exchange" with that dude? He's fucking nasty. Are there no hot young "Christian" studs for this cheerleading hooker?" What has this country come to? Get thee to a cheerleading-hooker nunnery!!

  28. 28

Hey MARIO…it is not that christians believe gay sex is a sin. the bible tells us it is. but we are ALL sinners. ALL of us. christians do not hate gays. at least this christian doesnt. i dont even care if your church marries you and your partner. stop the hate of christians. we dont walk around judging others. we are just living our lives the best we can (and mostly in sin) trying to become better people.

  29. 29

This post and this situation makes me very sad. I am not a christian nor am I homosexual, but I am disappointed in your stance, perez. You have taken the initiative and made a conscious effort to be less hurtful toward others — even though they are in the spotlight of celebrity. Here you have sunk to the level of those you criticize. I know this woman and she is one of the nicest, most caring, fun-loving people you will ever meet. She has a wonderful heart and does not deserve this negativity that is being thrown at her. Being fun and flirty got her into this situation and she does not deserve to be punished professionally for something she did in private — regardless of the affiliation of the organization. Consider HER feelings and how this harsh spotlight has suddenly changed her life.

  30. 30

On Glenn Beck's June 14th show, Glenn aired Muslim Clerics who are calling for the gathering and stoning of all homosexuals. Why does our president want to negotiate with these people. WHy doesnt the GLBT community call out Muslims for their intolerant beliefs and desires to murder homosexuals????

  31. 31

Hypocritical much?? I am a Christian and am all for Gay rights. As much as you hate to be judged you really have no problem stereotyping and judging others. What would the correct response have been in this situation? If she was fired, they would probably be criticized for being judgmental but she's forgiven and now all Christians are hypocritical? Also this story has NOTHING to do with gay rights or how gays are treated so please stop trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill!

  32. 32

I seriously am exhausted of you assholes who defend fairytales. But because you are allowed to believe in them does not mean you have the right to shove your "faith" of "whatever" down anyones throat. Defend it and profess it somewhere else. I, for one, am not religious. I don't think anyone will smite me down for calling you assholes or that anything is "pre-destined". I think Perez makes a valid point. As a heterosexual woman who has many friends who are gay, lesbian, transgender and bi I find it hilarious and sickening we can live in a country that allows men and women to fuck shit up with their bad choices and failed marriages YET we cannot permit homosexuals and lesbians to get married and make the same mistakes? Since when is this a religious country? Check your facts, the Founding Fathers weren't religious. Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, even Washington.

  33. 33

You spout your shit about "sins" and expect everyone to just sit there and take it. Afraid not. I'm not going to. Equality for all people is something that shouldn't still be an issue in America. This woman is a perfect example as to why religion doesn't work and moreso now in todays day and age. Anyone can be a "good" person and act polite, well-mannered, cordial, and jovial, religion has nothing to do with it. Placing all this homophobic hate on the gay community just to further prove why Christianity/religion in general- is no longer relevant. You can be a good person, but you don't have blame it on religion. This woman is just as guilty as Weiner is.

  34. 34

By the way, this is Perez's site. If he wants to point a finger at anyone, its his site and he can. IF you don't like it, leave. Nobody is forcing you to be here. Also, saw some comment about Glenn Beck- if you sincerely are that fucking stupid that you believe that comedy show of sheer human stupidity is "news" then you should probably have your IQ checked. If you believe everything the F-O-X tells you then its clear you have no brains, common sense, or self-respect. Ha.

  35. 35

Uhh, Sending nude pictures, talking to girls sexually online IS NOT CHEATING. Sorry but saying that crap about infidelity when all he did was send his junk out to a few girls hes never met before..yeah wow idiot. Thats just crap a bunch of fat ugly women made up to keep their husbands from lusting after other women online..thats like saying watching porn and fapping is cheating..Right. DUMB.

  36. 36

Re: ellebelle84 – Not trying to be rude or anything, but your rant seems a little unwarranted. This whole situation with this woman has absolutely nothing to do with homosexuals. And if you bothered to read the majority of the comments on this post, you'd notice that the people commenting are actually Christians themselves, and they actually support the LGBT community. It's obvious that you're angry about something, but don't take it out on an entire group of people simply some of them aren't as tolerant. Attacking them because you think their beliefs are a "fairytale" isn't very fair. Give them the same respect you expect them to give the gay community. It takes both sides to reach a state of equality. I am gay, and I believe in equality for ALL (including Christians), not just the gay community.

  37. 37

    Re: Not my gumdrop buttons!

to you and most of the posts here, i am christian strong faith and infedelity is a sin, and even if you believe being gay is a sin you can't pick and choose which you to look past. thats his point. its hypocritical. it is just like a politician who preaches morality and then cheats on his wife. and thou shall not convent they neighbors wife. meaning lust for ect not sex, engage in just this kind of behavior. and read it agian thy neighbors wife meaning even if your single if their not its a major sin. so yes she broke a major rule and they look past it because it makes them look bad but something else and their willing to condem. its being blatant hypocrits,

  38. 38

    Re: Not my gumdrop buttons!

and he brought christianity "into" it because she is a CHRISTIAN CHEERLEADER who was forgiven by the young womans CHRISTIAN organization.

  39. 39

    Re: NookiesWA

lust is one of the seven deadly sins, yes doing that is cheating, not physically but it is. what would you think if you caught your wife or husband sending naked photos to someone without you knowing, if your cool with that your a sackless dumb a@# and deserve to be cheated on or if you were doing that would you hide it from you sign. other like he did….there is a reason for that

  40. 40

    Re: quinnsie

you are right and sound well thought out the diff is christians condem people for how they feel and then let others off, my cousin killed himself recently for being gay and the conflict of that and what he "should be" helped push him in that direction but the major diff is gays cannot marry who they love which is highly do to christian influence in politics while people who committ infedelity or help in the act of infedelity are forgiven on the spot. thats a problem

  41. 41

Why in the world should she lose her job because she was messing around with a married man?

  42. 42

my point is forgiveness for all as people all make mistakes and treat all sins as sins, not look past or quickly forgive some and attack others….a sin is a sin is a sin. it makes christianity look bad and it is hurting the number of people who are christian and the strenght of the faith they have. Part of what your believe is spread Gods word right, well how can you do that if people have no respect in christianity and leave the faith or don't think of joining.

  43. 43

    Re: Bunnyness

why should a aa counseler loose their job if they get caught with a dui. its what she represents… a christian based organization that is supposed to be against lusting after anothers spouse which she did

  44. 44

If another cheerleader had been let go for being a lesbian, this would make more sense as a post. You can't judge an entire community when you spend your life defending the gay community. I agree, SOME Christians sweep things under the rug and make examples of others. Just like some Jews, some Muslims, some politicians… Also, single out Anthony Weiner if you're going to single out anybody. Not some girl who didn't do a thing to you. Find a more creative way to push gay rights. This is wrong.

  45. 45

Traci can do whatever she pleases in her private life- the point is, she's not a member of congress and she didn't tweet photos of her genitalia to the world!

  46. 46

I'm gay and I'm glad she didn't lose her job.

  47. 47

christians are always the worst hoares i used to have a friend that fucked all the boys behind the church in the long grass why her uber religious family were inside. butter wouldnt melt in this womans mouth but cum might

  48. 48

I feel like there's been a lot of Christian-bashing happening on this site. I'm just wondering how making fun of someone because they are Christian is any different from making fun of someone because they are homosexual? I think everyone should respect everyone's lifestyle.

  49. 49

Re: ellebelle84 – You need to get laid.

  50. 50

Why make this a homosexual issue? It isn't. Pretty pathetic for you to do that.

  51. 51

It's called being HYPOCRITES! Religion is full of it. Politics is full of it. Yet being in a loving relationship is considered evil for some reason. Go figure, they also believe there's a man in the sky and a woman gave birth to a kid without having sex, cause well you know, sex is evil and bad!! Ha! So laughable yet so sad.

  52. 52

    Re: icefire227
Stupidity should be a sin too. And you are FULL OF IT! Do humanity a favor and please read a real book and put down your bible. thank you.

  53. 53

    Re: quinnsie
If there are "some people in the Christian community are great, loving individuals." Where are they when it comes down to defending your fellow man, gay or straight??? Sadly I don't hear much of that going on.

  54. 54

    You're all idiots…

    1. The bible says it's wrong to be gay.
2.The bible says no sex before marraige.
    3. the bible says don't cheat.

Seriously?! I'm an Irish person, Catholic, and i don't believe in following life through the tellings of the bible. In all honesty, if the bible was true, and if t was written in that period in history, then men would be secretly sleeping with each opther and their wives, their wives would know about it. women were married in jerusalum at the age of 10-12 to 40 year old men. not see anything wrong with that huh?!..

How about you live your life by getting along with everyone, believing your own abilities and self-esteem, instead of blaming the facts of life on a man written about in a book wirtten thousands of years ago.

I wish American Christians knew how the rest of the world is laughing at you.

  55. 55

I love all the the skanky Christians on here trying to justify her actions by saying that because it was just text sex it's okay. I'm not a Christian yet even I know that the bible says if you look at someone with lust in your heart you have committed adultery. Don't you know your own belief system?

Its funny how Christians only want the bible to dictate non-Christian's lives and not even their own.

  56. 56

Hey, Jackass…Just so happens I went to school with Traci. She's about as liberal as they come and is always pushing for gay rights. Maybe this time you stepped on your dick. Way to criticize someone who has YOUR interests close to her heart.
